So what we're seeing is a change of formation for Liverpool and Citeh. The competition being of front men now being

  • Haaland
  • Nunez
  • Lukaku (if he stays/plays at Chelsea)
  • Kane
  • Ronaldo
I'm not ranking them i'll let others so that ...

What in common with Klopp, Diaz and Nunez. The energy and engertic and guts level. Peoples with same characters use to attract each others.
A match. Same kids play best together.

I feel like they could all top different lists depending the way you word it. E.g.

Most potential:

1. Haaland

2. Nunez
3. Kane
4. Ronaldo
5. Lukaku

Most PL Proven striker

1. Kane
2. Ronaldo
3. Lukaku

But if we were to gaugeit on who I think will have the best season, then i'd go for

1. Haaland
2. Ronaldo (Just feel like ETH will get the team providing him with chance after chance)
3. Kane
4. Nunez

5. Lukaku

Manutd had talks but there was never a contract offer, unless you can prove otherwise.

Manutd were also not keen on spending 100m euros on him, unless again you can prove otherwise.

Therefore; there was no choice of two clubs. Its quite simple actually.
Maybe but its is obvious before even Liverpool got involved that we were not paying 100m. Unless, you are just going to ignore that, United actually rated him at 70m not 100m. Neither did United present a contract offer to him.

If we wanted the player, we would have matched the fee and tried to persuade him with a higher contract offer, neither was done.

Surprised Chelsea weren't involved in signing him if Lukaku's going back to Italy

The wild thing about this list is that Salah the winger stands a great chance of finishing top goal scorer

I can quote tier 1 tweets stating we weren't ready to spend 80 + 20 on Darwin. We just don't have the budget.
I'm strictly pointing to the "contract offer" statements of the original poster. He asked me to prove otherwise so that's what I did.

One of Klopp’s greatest achievements is how he turned Liverpool into a honeypot for top class footballers. Two obvious reasons for this.

1. Klopp’s global appeal amongst top players
2. On-field success, making Liverpool a destination rather than an occasional stepping stone for top players.

Looks like United were interested - who knows? But the exponential growth of Liverpool’s profile and status now means it’s pretty unremarkable if United did miss out to Klopp’s side.

€100 M. Potentially. If we can get Antony for €40m that's predicted its a great deal. FDJ looks like around the €70M mark. That's where our money looks like going .

85M for a player that I'd never heard of until the season just gone. Not that it matters, but I am surprised he cost so much.

I can also imagine that's Mane gone.

Nunez
Firmino
Salah
Jota
Diaz

He can call it "no pressure" all he wants, if Haaland delivers and Nunez doesn't he will be hounded out of England
No he won't. Liverpool paid 60m for Keita who is a benchwarmer but people don't even talk about it. So long as Jota Diaz and Salah are performing he won't get much attention if he isn't doing that well.
