Thie biggest factor is the same as Timbers. World Cup year and need to be playing most of the time, although I would expect even 50% to be enough for Erikson to be in the Danish squad!
No it’s not. I think he’s getting picked in the Danish squad regardless of which club he chooses. It’s not exactly the same as Timber. His main factors here are about moving away from London and the current state of the club.

State of the club is nonsense when you are comparing to Brentford. We are still in Europa FFS

This is scary, City just get stronger and stronger and we dither.
who cares about city though they’re so far clear of us it’s not even worth thinking about.

our concern is arsenal and spurs but even those are clear of us.

Saw some genius say we were 11 points behind Arsenal and 12 points ahead of Brentford, so we're more likely to be overtaken by Brentford then catch Arsenal.

Doesn't make any sense from his own stats!

Agreed.
Our concern is to get some sort of stability and structure is, and lay the way for how we're going to play.
Then slowly work at getting the players to fit that over the next few windows.

If we finished 5th or 6th but the progress on the pitch is obvious that itself can be acceptable.
Probably better than the past where we've had an unsustainable dip back into the top 4 without ever nailing a long term plan.

Apparently this will be the first time we've finished June without a signing since 2010. If we don't get one in the next 5 days. Grim.

Ok, my bad.

I read it as there was an implication that you agreed with it but it would only lead to the result what happened the other day.
I don't agree with this sort of crap especially when Arnold seem to be the only person in that club who is willing to change things around. I only hope that after this shambles of transfer window heads will keep on rolling

I've really started to get that feeling that this is going to be a "well, we tried!" Summer. We'll 'try' to get De Jong all summer by lowballing Barcelona and then at the very end we'll either sign nobody, or sign some cheap player and the senior management line will be that we spent all summer trying to get that one big name that just didn't work out.

Well the club was saving money in January window and decided against players like Diaz to properly back the new manager.
Worked out really well for us there huh. I wouldn't be surprised to see Newcastle finish above us next season.

I wouldn’t blame Ronaldo if he wanted to flee the sinking ship. Although his last stint was still overlapping the Glazer takeover, it was nothing like the shitshow he currently finds himself in

Ronnie is going to leave this summer or next summer. If it's this year, I'm personally fine with it, think it'll be easier for Ten Hag to implement a coherent playing style.

The thought anyone would believe Tuchel would want Ronnie at Chelsea...jebus.

Next summer gives us time to find someone whereas the budget for a striker isn't there now

Absolutely nothing highlights these parasites more than the 11 million in dividends while the club is currently haggling over that much for FDJ
1) you’ve no idea what’s happening with that FDJ deal. Literally you know nothing about the inner workings of it.
2) this club is nothing but a business to them. They are here to make and take
money. I’m not a fan of it obviously, but have come to accept they have a pretty clear operating model.

That isn’t going to wash with United fans this year. The way things are going it will be incredible if United fans put up with this.

Thats quite funny. I would like to know how the people thinking we were being impatient would try to spin this.
You don’t think that the media are trying to get as many of these stories out? Fans are collectively wetting the bed so the media have picked up on it. Good for clicks.
Ronaldo’s a professional I don’t believe a word off it. They’ve been having him pissed off, then he’s said he was happy and staying, then they had him leaving, again he said he was staying, then they have him leaving to Bayern which is a bs story. You all keep believing everything you read so they persist

The media narrative doesn't really fly when its the likes of Ornstein and Ducker reporting it.

I haven't entertained anything about Bayern in my head but if Ornstein /Ducker are reporting this news about transfer frustration its more than likely true.

Yeah. It’s probably made up. Having said that, I would think all the players who think they are good enough to play for us will be anxious to get better players into the club to replace the ones they think aren’t up to it.
