Since lockdown ended I've been hammering them and going to Weezer, Fall Out Boy and Greenday last night was incredible, possibly the best gig I've been to, certainly Greenday are the best live act.

I've got a few lined up in September/October time with Caskets and Amity Affliction but I'm so tempted to just hear bands and go on a whim to something anywhere.

So what are the caf giggers going to?

Saw RTJ in Brixton a couple of weeks back but I missed out on tickets for Cave + Ellis and The Smile.

Went to Red Hot Chilli Peppers last week.

Was fun, but i think i'm over the massive gigs just too far away even when you push yourself to the front small gigs are miles better, gonna keep an eye out for some resale tickets for the libertines in castlefield on Friday.

I go to a lot of gigs/festivals pretty much every year. I went to Hella Mega in London on Friday, definitely the best gig I've been to for a while. Weezer were alright, Fall Out Boy were brilliant and Green Day were incredible.

I was also supposed to go to Seeyouspacecowboy and Nine Inch Nails last week but the fecking train strikes but a stop to that. More pissed off about NIN as they don't tour that often.

My gigs at the moment look like this for the rest of the year: Vein.fm, Jimmy Eat World, Deafheaven, Incubus, Biffy Clyro and The Cure.

Desparate to catch The Music if their reunion ends up becoming longer term.

I just sank several bourbon and cokes as I watched Fontaines D.C.'s set live from Glastonbury, if that counts?

Need to make sure I get to as many gigs as I can to fill the hole of Glastonbury, for which I had to sell my ticket because I was moving house that week :(

I've seen The Music in Leeds and Wolf Alice and Roosevelt in Manchester so far. Coming up I have Diiv and Knower in Manc, Tears for Fears in Lytham and then Cut Copy in Lisbon which will be nice. Sure there will be a few more between now and the end of the year

Fu Manchu, Kadavar, Deftones, Social Distortion, Osees, Agnostic Front, Dinosaur Jr, Liam Gallagher, Pixies, Future Islands, Parquet Courts among others this summer.

Hot water music and Samiam in October. Don't think I have much more planned yet.

Seeing Kendrick in November but there’s not many left I’d really want to see. Did a big spree of them whilst living in Canada. Saw Anderson Paak, Hozier, Tyler, Bon Iver, Childish Gambino, slowthai, Travis Scott, Tame Impala, Toro Y Moi, Bas, Brockhampton, Maribou State, Bonobo, Ross From Friends and alt-J and in a 2/3 year period.

I’d like to see James Blake, Isaiah Rashad and Frank Ocean. But can’t think of many more.

Was at kings of Leon on Friday just gone and killers a couple of weeks ago

I’m also going to Greenday/Weezer same show as you OP tomorrow night, then guns n roses on Tuesday and chilli peppers on wed

Nearly all rescheduled gigs from 2 years ago now all happen to be same week or so

If I’m still alive Thursday morning I will be doing well

Got Gaslight Anthem in August, Menzingers in October and Idlewild doing The Remote Part in full in November... Very much looking forward to ask three, but probably Menzingers the most as I've never seen them before.

Gutted I didn't go to that yesterday... Not a massive fan of any but any stretch, but my brother and sister went and said it was great. Plus not often such a huge gig like that comes around these parts

Next one is Placebo in Nov right now, but reckon I will see someone before then.
Saw placebo a few years ago, they were terrific

I reckon if they do their cover of running up that hill it’ll get a good response

Think they had that as their final song when I saw them

Was at Knebworth a few weeks ago for Liam and Kasabian. Liam killed it as expected but Kasabian were so much better than I was expecting.. really good live.

Went to see Peter Hook’s band at Holmfirth Picturedrome a few weeks ago, doing lots of Joy Division stuff. I was pretty sceptical beforehand, but it was a great night. The venue is one of the nicest anywhere.

Plastic Mermaids later in the year. Good for us old gits to get down with the yoof occasionally.

They didn't play it when they supported MCR a few weeks ago but it was before S4 had come out so maybe they will in future. They were very good though, better than MCR actually I thought. Was a fan of both anyway.

Shameless nepotistic plug: If you’re in Wisbech for the Rock Festival in early August make sure you catch Orbital Junction.

Yikes. Hopefully they are better for you, but the whole gig was just weird. Zero interaction between the group and crowd, They missed quite a few of the big hits for songs no one cared about, and the support act ASAP Rocky (who I do like) never turned up until late so went on AFTER Chili Peppers for about 15 minutes. Bizarre gig.

Really lucky my home town venue is just around the corner. Just saw Nile Rodger’s and Chic on Friday. What a gig. Last Tues was Noel Gallagher, Sunday just gone was Pete Tong with a full orchestra. This week is Paul Weller, the week after it’s Primal Scream doing the whole Screamadeliaca album (30th anniversary) In between there’s a couple of big raves as well. Later in the year there’s a full orchestra doing last night at the Proms. A couple I’m not going to are Tom Jones, Paloma Faith, Jessie Ware,. Every year there’s just loads of acts. Seen loads over the last 4 or 5 years since it opened. Best but is we don’t even have to get a taxi. Can just stagger home. Big stadium gigs are a thing of the past for me now.

Was at the same gig same opinion most of the songs were dead crowd weren't interested cut the set short didn't do the full encore they posted.

Then everyone left on mass so i imagine ASAP rocky performed to an empty stadium.
