Never seen him but I'm guessing ETH will use him, extensively. This isn't the kind of signing he would make without identifying a weakness in our current options. Everyone kind of clowned Ralf for using Telles but I just dont think Shaw is everyone's cup of tea. I'm guessing it's shaw's delivery because his build up imo is pretty decent. At least I think it is.

Absolutely not true, he’s as good going forward as any modern LB, his decision making needs work but he’s a menace to deal with, he gave Roma fits in the Conference final, they couldn’t handle him all game.
We're clearly prioritising CDM/CM the most hence De Jong. Also Shaw was injured for most of the season and Telles was probably our worst outfield player, so surely it makes sense to have someone who is a good backup?

According to the Danish football magazine, Tipsbladet, Feyenoord's Danish technical director, Frank Arnesen, says that Malacia has been sold to United. He will switch if Malacia can agree with United on the contract and if he wants to play for United.
I don’t know much about him but having looked at the YouTube highlights (yeah I know everyone looks great on those) the lad can certainly tackle.

Every time Shaw has had competition at his position, he has improved his game markedly. First when Brandon Williams seemed to want to take Shaw's position, and then again when Telles was bought.
Maybe the same thing will happen again if we buy Malacia.
He looks like a good player and besides, Telles was hopeless.
When we were first linked with him the views from several Dutch posters and scout reports were that he's great defensively, has a tremendous engine, is very athletic and high energy, decent passer but awful at crossing and little final 3rd product, his videos are very similar to AWB.

Well first he’s not the finished product and second you don’t have to cross the ball like Trent to be an attacking fullback. Kyle Walker and Patrice Evra are two examples.

Never seen him play before the UECL final but some people say he's really good, others say he's not good enough for United. Strange signing for another 'prospect' when our current left back situation is probably the least pressing concern with Shaw, Williams and Telles on our books. Also why are we paying more when they agreed to sell to Lyon for 2m less and no sell on clause?
Never seen him play before. Those are always the most exciting.
One training session to realise Shaws a top drawer left back and needs a good deputy.

Yes and no. They wanted €15 million OL would only give it to them with €13 million fixed and 2 in add ons. We are paying then €15 million fixed plus 2 add ons, yes its slightly more if they achieve the add ons but it negates any chance of a pick us or OL situation because OL will have to match us or miss out.
Their RB is also very promising! Watched a handful of their games last season and was always impressed by both full backs.
I'd love us to sell Shaw and keep Telles as backup. Believe in this yuice.
Haven’t minded Telles. Yes he’s limited but he’s got a mean left foot. Decent back up. The only reason he’s had to be more than that is because of that half arsed Luke Shaw. He’s the one we should be cashing in on as I’m sure lots of clubs would pay up.

Hopefully this kid is good enough to play a decent amount of minutes. Telles is shocking and needs to be sold. Shaw picked up a bunch of injuries last season.

we were led to believe that but I never saw it, I mean he scored that one volley but I thought we was getting a Roberto Carlos type left foot. Tbh I wouldn’t be arsed if either him or shaw left The club.
