Oh, we've seen him try too hard to be first to break the news like that YouTube mess a while back where he posted something then had to delete it. But for some on here, it feels so personal. Like an overreaction.
The dislike for Romano here is very strange to me. I dont follow him and all i know is that he has a twitter account and posts transfernews and became famous by doing so (by being right often). I assume he makes a bit of money from it as well... what is the big problem with him? There are so many of twitter accounts with transfernews, he just is the most famous one. Dont get why he gets all the hatred for it here. Dont think the redcaf boomers are his target audience anyway either

Oh United fans online are exactly his target audience given the interactions he gets from them (which no doubt makes him money). Check his replies on Twitter, he might post a tweet about some random player to Napoli for example and the replies are full of idiots demanding/begging/pleading for United news "Any United news Fab" as if hes their best mate. Its embarrassing.

The other reasons are he quite often posts stuff thats not his story without giving credit and has been called out for it by other journalists.

And hes known as a a Tap In merchant for jumping on things at the last minute with that Here We Go bullshit. Plenty of reasons he drives people crazy. His every word is treated as gospel despite being wrong on several occasions.

If someone thinks he a bullshitter then they should simply ignore his tweets, just as you'd ignore a tweet from indiakali or whoever the hell that kid was. The way people froth at the mouth and start ranting about Romano in every thread is getting a bit tiring to read through tbh

Exactly this. I dont care about his tweets and i dont follow him. However because the people who seem to hate him feel the need to mention him in about every thread i do know what he is tweeting. If you dont like Romano just wait till the official Manchester United twitter account announces it.... or since people claim he just copies/steals other people their work, why not follow those other people instead?

Happy to get this one done. Now I can officially sit back, get the Kleenex tissues out and enjoy some YouTube compilation videos of him.

Answer lies in the question. Some people are genuinely boomers at heart.

He plays on the right or left? Because I want the Cucaracha as well. Cucurella Cucaracha. He is too good to let him go elsewhere. He fits the bill for the type of player Ten Haag is looking for.

Cucurella isn't happening. Maybe for City. I like that player too but we aren't spending decent money on LB till Shaw is here.

He's gonna cost £50m, be mad to go for him at that price. Also, ten Hag is the one signing Malacia. Surely he know who fits the bill for the type of player he's looking for.

His persona, built on stealing other journos exclusives, annoys most sensible people

I honestly think Shaw will end up moving centrally sooner or later. I'll try playing him at DM with FDJ if we don't end up signing one.
What has he shown that proves he could play there? I find this suggestions weird, most times it wont work out

Shaw will still be a LB. I feel that a lot of people are only thinking of the signings as replacements, but they fail to see the reason why ETH is mainly going for them. Versatility.

De Jong's attributes allow him to play as a DM, CM and AM. Malacia can be a Left back, Wing back, Left Winger and even a Forward in the Valverde mode. Lisandro Martinez can be a CB, a full back and a DM as well. Basically gives ETH options when he needs to switch tactics against different teams.

Wehey, a guy I know nothing about that the new manager likes. Good start. Excited to see how he'll perform in the premier league. Shaw's tendency to leave a million acres of space on the left hand side and forgetting to track back has annoyed me to no end for years.

Nail on head. You can see a pattern developing with his buys. FdJ is like the trunk of a tree, the rest are moveable parts.
It's the logical approach when he has so much to change and with a limited budget. Versatility.

Yup, Henry, Petit, Viera,Anelka,Pires,Wiltord…. Arsenal and Wenger suffered for it didn’t they?
tbf with every Henry, Vieira, Pires & Petit there's a Gilles Grimandi, Remi Garde, Diawara, Aliadiere, Cygan to name a few
