Moussa Dembele has 1 year left in his contract and Belotti is on a free. We should get them both

I completely agree with Alex Shaw and believe we'll score more goals as a team next season without him and function much better as a unit with and without the ball.

All of these things are spot on.

Replacing him would be huge headache this summer. Are there any 9s out there good enough and willing to join us? We would be left with 0 goal scorers without him
I think we’ll do better without him under ETH. Also, I wouldn’t say he’s a Nine and I think we need to sign a Nine even if he stays.

I agree it’s not obvious where the goals will come from but we might be pleasantly surprised…

My only worry is who can we realistically get to replace him (now that we've already lost Greenwood and Cavani).

We shouldn't sell him before replacing him. That should be a condition.

What a piece of shit this guy is. One tough year and he bails, that's ignoring his comments when he first left. Never should someone call him a "legend" ever again.

Hopefully PSG just spunk a load of money on him and give us all what we really want to see before Ronaldo and Messi retire.

I don't think this story comes out unless Ronaldo knows an offer is incoming, the problem for us is replacing him in an already difficult summer transfer window.
I don't think, personally, there is anyone who would take him. But thats just my opinion.

It wouldn't surprise me if this was a Ronaldo way of saying improve the squad or i'm gone.

Not surprised at all if it happens. We were a a shambles last season and even if we get FDJ etc this window, I still don’t think we will get top 4 anyway.

Does he want to stay and go through another season of disappointment at his age. I’m sure someone can afford him, his agent would have been on this for a while.

What is certain though is we’ll be fecked for goals if he goes.

Someone will have him
I'd doubt that.

City just bought Haaland. Chelsea won't buy him as long as Tuchel is there, he benched Lukaku for a reason. How PSG would fit Neymar, Messi, Mbappe and now Ronaldo into their XI? It's just impossible. Bayern? Not their transfer type. Juve? no way. Real? Nah.

His salary is huge so the list is already very narrow. And basically all of them has a big reason to not sign him. I simply can't find one.

Was only ever a nostalgic signing, everyone knew it wasn’t a marriage built to last. Time catches up to everyone so it’s better he leaves now - before it’s obvious he’s past it - than to slowly deteriorate before our eyes and bring us down. He was our savior and our curse last season. Better that we part with some small amount of regret for things that might have been.

Legend but we need grafters up top now. Get that wage off the books and wish him well. He’d be awesome if he were ever happy in a backup role but we know that’s not the case.

He's arguably the best player of all time. Somebody will take him mate. It's not even remotely an issue

For this to come out from such a close source, I'm pretty sure there are already some advanced talks with some club, whether that's Chelsea or someone else. There is absolutely no way this is a good thing. It's a disaster. I hope we have a target in mind because I can't think of anyone that's going to come in and deliver the 24 goals Ronaldo did last season (in a terribly underperforming team). He was the 3rd top scorer in the league behind only Son and Salah, yet people think someone else is going to just waltz into our frontline and replace that no problem? Unless we're getting a world class or on the verge of world class striker, I don't see how that happens.

Meh, not fussed. Was amazing to see him back in a red shirt and scored some cracking goals.

Alas, we need mobile forwards and I reckon Bruno as a false #9 is a great shout.

Solves a big issue for us, no more wondering how we can set up with him in the side. Actually helps us if he leaves!

Plus wages off the books.

Him leaving would be terrible. With a functioning team he would still be massive for us, hope it's fake.
100%, have yet to replace other places in our squad and then we lose our top goalscorer?

Would take us back ever further

Let him go, move Rashford up top and tell him if he doesn’t press higher up, he’s sitting on the bench and watching the World Cup from his couch.
I have a better idea. Buy some forwards. Tell Rashford to improve or he'll be watching Man Utd matches from his couch.

If Dusan Tadic can ply that position for ten Hag, Rashford will be perfectly fine.
The Dutch league is not the EPl. Defences are tough in the EPL and they defend in numbers. Before he is moved upfront Rashy should better prove himself in his natural role

Got to imagine this will happen and if he really wants CL football I am sure he will cut his wage demands to make a move happen as I doubt he cares that much about the salary at this stage of his career, particularly when his brand brings in far more than his day job goes. I still think Jonathan David is worth a look and we could do worse than try and get Andrea Belotti on a free as he is hard working and a pretty prototypical target man that out array of wide attackers could play off.

Even Ole didn't want him. A signing made by the board. Maybe Chelsea will do the same to Tuchel.
