How do Barca fans feel about this? It's disgusting.
I don’t think they’ll care when they see Lewandowski et al in the new Spotify kit. The next lever will be pulled in 12 months

If you are serious, I can only draw conclusion you have extremely weak nerve so easy to break. Sorry for saying it.
Whatever man. I don't take offense to it personally, I couldn't care less. I'm just calling you out for being a hypocrite.

The meltdown here is insane. Can you guys just relax and wait for the conclusion rather than reacting frantically to every “story” or “info” emerging?
I’ve decided to do likewise. This transfer is genuinely 50-50, so there’s no point speculating.

they should just incorporate that during the presentation of the new players and have them pull a huge lever instead of showing tricks and skills in the stadium.

22m : 2 years is 11m or ~210k/wk. So he's been playing for (almost) free for 2 years.

Anyway, if he's on 350k/wk this season with Barca, it means we need to at least match that. Which is not that ridiculous, as we pay Sancho that much also.
I guess with him signing a new deal that could include a signing bonus

I think a lot of people tend to have hope completely tied to a single person, but in real world, it’s often unlike that. For team sports, it’s even more so. There will be solution, either an alternative or a different approach. Not getting FDJ is far from the end of world. In the meantime, it is not guaranteed success even though he joins us.

Probably. Well this signing is still far away, I guess. If it's true that personal terms hasn't been discussed yet.
Yeah if personal terms aren't sorted then definitely won't be done in time for Friday

"Barca or money"

Nice character assassination ...
I would never succeed as a professional footballer. My club tries to do this shit with me I’ll be on Instagram Live expeditiously saying feck the whole Barcelona hierarchy, name by name, with 2Pac’s Hit Em Up playing in the background

Exactly. For all we know, the only reason he’s contemplating joining us is due to the fact that we’ll pay him more than Barca, where he’ll have to take a pay cut to stay and sign a new contract. On the other hand, he’s a brilliant player so could be sensational anyway.

I’m just going to go with the flow. We have many other signings to make who will be just as important as him, like Lisandro and a Ronaldo replacement.

You have to laugh if that’s genuine. So we’ve potentially spent 2 months negotiating with Barce without getting the green light from the player who could very much just decide to stay at Barce?

Would be a whole new level of failure even for us.

the "offer" to stay on reduced wages is nothing more than posturing so that they can then blame the player for choosing the money when he leaves. Don't fall for Barcelonas propaganda.

Why? Of course it's true.
We would spend 2 months locked in negotiations with no apparent alternative without getting absolute assurance from the player he’s willing to join us? In fact the suggestion there is he’s potentially so unwilling he’d take a pay cut.

Seems unlikely to me. Barca propaganda I reckon.

It's been reported multiple times he's open to joining and that personal terms wouldn't be an issue.

The latest is that he is unwilling to take a paycut.
