Muppetiers on twitter (despite the name he does seem to have some actual contacts and is generally good with announcement timings) is saying Eriksen medical tomorrow and announcement tomorrow or Thursday, and the club is hoping to agree for Martinez tomorrow/thursday too, so that we'd have all of them on the plane for the tour on Friday.
That would be a fantastic week.

Eriksen is a top quality player. Football comes effortlessly to him, he’s unbelievably good at it. And he’s the deadball specialist which we have been crying out for. Corners & freekicks, he’s one of the best in the World.

Happy with this signing.

I have watched Eriksen in the Ajax Academy, and he is one of the most gifted midfielders of this generation. Shame he never got to live up to his potential, he had the ability to really play at the best of the best.

Back then his dribbling, scoring, passing, playmaking and all with both feet were just insane. Was about Ajax' best player for several years.

Yes while at Tottenham I always thought he could take the step to a bigger side, I felt he had all the quality to play in a league winning/champions league contending side.
Just like Kane and Pochettino they overstayed if that makes sense.

Two footed magician, I can't wait to see him stitching the play together, players like him and Frenkie make the team look better, because they bring others into play something we've been lacking at united.
Hopefully he's one of those players who can go deep into his 30s.

The last time we signed three in a week like this was Schweinsteiger, Schneirderlin and Darmian

I don’t see how this would work, particularly with regards to Martinez. Won’t he require to get a work permit which given his lack of international appearances would probably take a few days to a week?

No idea. Maybe they're planning on agreeing personal terms at least and it being subject to work permit and whatever. Wouldn't be officially announced til later?

Hopefully. The sooner we get these signings done the better.

Still unsure how Eriksen fits into the team but it would be nice to have another technical player.

Bruno, Fdj Ericksen as 3 in the middle.
We concede 4 every game but score 6 because they assist twice per game each.

Never copped why he was snagged for just £13 million with no traditional big club interested back in the day unless he was final year of contract or something. Always felt like he was going to be a hit even if he never reached Ballon D'Or levels.

I don’t know many top midfielders who are equally good passing it long with both feet. Eriksen has always had great technique and in a possession based positional system he will thrive.

With him and bruno in midfield we need a cf with pace and who can hold up the ball aswell.

Think they're checking he is tall enough.
Didn’t mean to have a dig , was a genuine question. Looks like we were chasing for some time and news broke out that he agreed the deal. Since there is no club to deal with transfer related paper work , was curious if there is something else holding it up.

There's only one United!
I think this is a great transfer for us.

He's only one year older than Pogba, one year younger than De Bruyne and just as old as Salah.

To top it all he's a nice guy who is an fine example to other players around him.

I agree. We need pace in general. Rashford on his day is very fast, but we are sorely lacking someone explosive in attack. Sancho, Bruno and Eriksen can ping a ball all day, just need someone on the end of it.

I heard our other target Antony isn't really fast either.

Really excited about seeing him in a United shirt.

I thought he was on the decline when he left Spurs but seems to be still be playing at a very high level.

I am sure he will. 36hrs of medical test and contractual due diligence, rush out to buy condoms for Bangkok.
No probs.
 Lots of player “medicals” on their return, you reckon? What happens in Bangkok stays in Bangkok
