I really don't get the point if Elanga

Yeah just posted about that.
Playing Atletico should give us perspective. This was never going to be like our previous high scoring pre season games.
I don't take their antics personal, but surely it's easy to see why Simeone's Atletico aren't exactly endearing for neutral fanshey now

Maguire did well in the end but those first few steps when turning and running back were glacial.

Impressed with Fred and Mctom today. Both showing signs of improving under ETH, as have many in the squad to be fair.
This is Atletico 2 weeks behind in preparation. Not the same at all. We should be winning this game easily tbh. It's quite concerning that we aren't and have created so littleWe need to remember this is Atletico. City in all their glory could only muster up 1 goal over 2 legs last season.

The drop in quality from Sancho to Elanga is scary. We really need some attacking depth.
