Offered nothing and seemed to not to want to either ask or look to get on the ball.

I don't know what people are seeing. That crap play wasn't his fault. What are you supposed to do when your fullback is nervous, your entire midfield is nervous, and Bruno is nervous? To top it off, the midfield and Bruno completely mess up everything.

He was supposed to do something but he did absolutely nothing like most others

Guy has flopped here and flopped hard too. There's no way around it no matter how much we look into it. We got robbed by BvB.

All he can do is be responsible for his own contribution. And he wasn’t very good. Got into some good positions but his final ball was useless, every time. That can’t be blamed on anyone else.

Did he ever dart through defences? Like most of our signings I don’t think the club done their homework on this one. He has had about 3 or 4 good games for us. Looks like a youth player most of the time and weaker than pretty much every fullback he’s against.
That's why I was never on the Sancho train. Didn't look strong under pressure, didn't beat his man. He was a give and go player and we needed more than that.

Same for England, too, which is why he's behind Grealish, Sterling, Saka who are stronger under pressure than him and can dribble.

Did he even play today ? He was invisible barely created anything and should have been subbed off way before along with Rashford. I just hope he doesn't turn out to be next pre-season Pirlo now that Pereira has moved on to another club.

We all want to believe that Sancho will be worth it in the end. However, in competitive matches, we're not seeing much evidence of it are we?

Glad the b.s excuses afforded to him aren't working anymore. He routinely flakes his defensive duties, makes sloppy passes and more often then not just does nothing.

His CL performances for Dortmund showed what his level was.

Can’t see him ever being top quality at this level. Something is just missing with him. No faith that suddenly arrives.

This will go down as a flop.

I feel many of the comments on his performance today are a little harsh. He wasn't as bad as Rashford, or any of our midfielders. For some reason we just weren't feeding him in the ball in the first half. Second half he was a bit more involved, he was ok, the movement around him was awful so it's limited what he can do.

We need to get him more involved, if our general play is centred around the left side than we have got to do something about it, for me his best position is on the left side

Back to his first 6months here form, ghost -esque.

For the fee he should be a star player, but feels like we'll be trotting out the "not a functioning team" excuse for a while yet.

Did he create any chances at all? Isolated his man several times and not once did he beat him or find the centre forward.

Very dissappointed. Made 1 good pass for McTom in the first half, other than that nearly invisible

Where’s the Sancho from pre season gone? Looks a shadow of that player, only the first game but needs to impose himself on the game a lot more he’s got the ability to do so. Seems to shit the bed a bit playing in the prem.

It’s an issue of belief with Sancho. He has everything in his locker, but his mentality an issue.

When we have a functioning midfield, we will start to see a lot more from players like Sancho.

I didn’t see any pre-season but that was a troubling display today. Same issues with lack to ability to take a man on and didn’t really get involved. Hopefully it’s just a bit of a lack of fitness after his illness.

He's an excellent player. Not his best day but our forwards couldn't get the ball from the midfield for most of the game. Erisken and Sancho looked better than the others even if that says little.

He has to toughen up without a doubt. Bit of a softy. But still a very good footballer who will shine once we stop being a broken mess.

I dunno if I buy this "once we have so-and-so he'll be better". Are better players going to make him shield the ball better? Are better players going to give him some dribbling ability?

Play him at Left Wing and see if he takes the chance, playing him wide right with Rashford left just negates both players.

Left Wing, bench Rashford, if he doesn't make it then feck him off, its pretty simple.

Can't handle the physicality of the PL. Looked great during pre season when nobody gave a feck.
