Who on earth would play instead? Our squad is paper thin and full of mediocrity (if we're being generous)

For starters I would love to see a line-up without McFred and H M.

Maguire was probably our best player today? I've given him plenty of stick but come on, our atrocious midfield is the source of most of our problems. The fact that an ageing no.10 like Eriksen was a massive improvement on McFred in the second half speaks fecking volumes.

We must distinguish players who are not fit for this level and those who are in poor form. McTominay just isn’t up this level, even as a squad man. I’m increasingly concerned about Rashford possibly being a spent force even his age. Same with Shaw.

Amazing the stick Maguire gets even when he plays well , the midfield was shocking and has been for longer than I can remember, and how he can pick Rashford after the year he has had. Should have started Garnacho, give him a chance

I'm really not convinced that we're looking at buying any new players other than maybe a cheap deal for an attacker. We had a very low budget and I don't think the owners are looking to spend much more.

The kids are not good enough. If we play them we're likely to be struggling to stay up. We needed a good amount of quality new players but that was never going to happen.
