And again.

I think the guy is an idiot, to be honest.

The night of Summerslam he was in some warehouse working a show getting chopsticks pierced into his head and going through barb wire tables in front of maybe 300 people.

He (and his wife) has years of WWE money behind them plus he is earning the same, if not more, in AEW. Why is he doing this? For anyone who says "It's his passion", I disagree. Wrestling can be a passion, yeah, but constantly blading and bleeding like he does is something else.

Him and Bryan are clearly masochists imo.

Mox bleeding all over the place is par for the course nowadays, but at least it was achieved slightly differently this time.

Still, it was a brilliant Dynamite, pretty much everything hit, and there's no better sound than JR going mad for a big return like he did when Punk's music hit.

They've done a superb job with Moxley's title run. I'd still much prefer Mox to be the canonical, legitimate champion (as opposed to interim), but regardless Punk vs Moxley to unify the lineage now feels like a big deal. Mox is probably as over now as he ever has been and people still popping big for Punk.

@The Hilton is spot on: AEW using JR a limited amount still has great returns. He still makes the big moments feel like a big deal.

So, does Omega return to team with the Bucks next week? I really don't know, but don't know who it could alternatively be either.

Still feels like a missed opportunity now Swerve is in AEW, but glad they're actually being given a fair go.

Watched Raw and from the lineup I wasnt expecting much. Sounded pretty uninteresting other than obviously a good main event match in Styles Vs. Lashley

However as it played out we got plenty of good stuff. There were a lot of mistakes during matches, but it didnt stop them being good. And some good promos too.

We'll see the trajectory of the ratings in the coming weeks and if its working but Triple H's shows are feeling more like the AEW shows now, more about good wrestling matches as well as the other stuff. And I'm certainly enjoying them more

Firm believer that if you want to get the best out of anyone... Just stick them anywhere in the vicinity of Kevin Owens.
The guy hasn't been champ for about five years. The guy is brilliant

No surprise Austin's match at mania was with Owens

I feel like this "Vince despises the word wrestling" thing is overstated. He advertised a PPV like this...

It's not. The one time he advertised match like this doesn't change that. He hates the term wrestling. And sneezing.

Seems like WWE are letting talent actually be talented a bit more now, which is great.

Now if they could just stop trying to make every episode have more cuts than the Taken series, I might get back into it.

The excitement and pop for Kenny last night. Ended up staying up out of fear of it getting spoiled, was totally worth it. So happy to see him back in the ring.

That Punk v Moxley segment was fantastic. Can't believe we are already getting next week. Wouldn't at all be surprised to see Moxley take it down and then have a re-match at All Out. That said, they did tease something with Hangman too.

Great to Omega and Danielson back. AEW feels on a hot run right now.

Well turns out Punk is an asshole who is reportedly on the verge of no showing that wouldn’t surprise anybody.
Who knew?

Seems to be that Punk is upset about this promo

At the time it did come across a bit strange for Page to act this way. It hadnt really been part of the story. But it seems theres some heat here about things going on in the back, possibly to do with Colt Cabana's minimal role in recent times. That and perhaps other stuff, but it seems Hangman was legitimately upset by Punk. So thats why his promo called Page out last night, knowing that Page coming out isnt part of the show.

It also confirms what Hangman said here, that doing things like he was suggesting he was tempted to do is what Punk would do. Well he did it last night

I've liked most of Punk's matches, I've liked several of his promos. But Punk winning the title and acting like this is starting to be a bit Shawn Michaels Vs. Bret Hart and falling out with each other over wrestling promos.

It baffles me how people fawn over this Punk run.

He's a 43 year old (who looks 53) who blasted through three of AEW's highly prized young guys (Darby Allin, MJF and Page) in 8 months to become their world champion. He loves to give off the impression that he cares about the business and all about lifting people up but he is one of the most selfish wrestlers around. Nothing wrong with that as long as you're not being a hypocrite about it.

Yeah the Punk and Mox segment was electric, from start to finish.

Great to have Omega back too, he got a great reception, as expected.

Punk being a Punk ass bitch shocker. So mentally fragile. Been given everything in AEW and it's not enough. Nothing will ever be enough for him, and there will always be someone trying to wrong him in his eyes.

I think a lot of people are getting worked by Punk, regardless of any genuine backstage tensions. The guy has been heeling it up ever since he arrived almost:

Punk did this in the indies and WWE. He's great at what he does and admitted it himself he is hard to work with.

I doubt it's a work, why would you spend 2 years building Hangman's story to then become a champion to then have your champion make him look like an asshole, while Hangman is sat backstage not booked for that night. All to make Punk the big bad guy and Hangman weak, that's some Vince level nonsense. As I said it's not a work imo I know wrestling fans think everything is a work. If they're smart which I think they are they'll turn it from a shoot in to a work.

Most of his matches are against faces though. It’s Cody mark 2 nonsense

Sheamus vs Gunther at the castle should be great.

They're going to beat the living crap out of each other.

 How does he (Hangman) look like an asshole? It's wrestling. By talking about him he's put him straight back into the title picture.

He was called out, offered a world title rematch and doesn't show up. Then he was called a coward to a cheering crowd.

It's not 3D chess booking. It's just shit booking.
