1. Antony signs for an insane fee. Ajax sign Calvin Stengs from Nice for the 10M or so they paid for him to be their new RW, or maybe Amad goes there on loan and Ajax get an option to buy for like 15M.
2. Last minute bid for Jonathan David, but we don't close it and end up signing Moussa Dembele for 15M as he only has one year left and we know we can just move him on if he isn't a success here.
3. Cristiano and the club walk away with him giving back 5M or so and he can take his time picking his next club.
4. Wan-Bissaka to Palace
5. Dubravka loan
6. RB loan bid for Meunier fails and we end up making Brandon Williams the backup RB, and Ten Hag gets a handpicked one in January or goes in for Timber (since it's after the WC).

Not against Dembele if we got Antony too, think that would give us balance across front three

Don’t see us loaning a keeper unless he’s guaranteed first team. Think the idea of them wanting to be loaned is to play more games. He won’t be guaranteed that here. I think we buy him for a small fee and he can compete with de gea for number 1.

We have only 4 days to end of the window. And the only ones we seem to be really working on are Antony/ Dubravka.
And throughout the season, the fastest we have moved from rumor to deal has been 4 days.

So highly skeptical that we bring more than 2 players.

A lot depends on today's match day performance, I'd think. A loss may not be too bad in the grand scheme of things.

This line of thinking is preposterous. As if another good performance is going to change 10years of mediocrity & EtH is gonna go back on his demand to the board. :lol: :lol:

I wouldn't mind losing today if that forces the Glazers to (panic and) close the deals for Antony and FDJ. Both deals seem to have been stalled by failing to pay another 10 and 15m, respectively. We aren't winning the League anytime soon, but need a couple of good players to even think of finishing in the top-4.

Although I can equally see scraping a draw and nobody being bought.

I’m strangely excited for the end of this transfer window for us. It’s going to be utter chaos that is mostly going to end in disappointment but up until that point I’m going to enjoy every second it. Strap in boys!
