The title of the thread...

Great to see Liz Truss giving a reading, purely because you know how much Johnson would have LOVED to be the centre of attention here.

Whilst I have a personal respect for Queen Elizabeth II & the time she served as Queen, this procession is everything that is wrong with this country and the system of hierarchical Monarchy; the people of the country who she supposedly served are held back and kept out of proceedings via police, as branch of the State that she was the head of, whilst only the ‘elites’ and those who served her are allowed access.
Surely that’s the case in literally every country in the world, regardless of system? It’s a head of state dying. There’s shit loads obviously wrong with the country but this isn’t it and changing it won’t make a difference to the priorities of those in government.

Hopefully Casemiro Eriksen finally start the game as a midfield two even though its hard on McT who's been superb so far this season.

aye. can’t describe the feeling of relief you get when you place it down and know you don’t have to carry it again or risk dropping it. it’s even harder when the family are chasing you and shouting at you to come back.
I had to carry my Grandad in and then back out. In was ok as I was feet end, but out was head and it felt 10x as heavy. It looked tough on these lads.

As I’ve mentioned before it is a visualisation of the system of the country. Yes it may be similar to other countries, look at the people who’ve already said “Nobody does this like the British”, whilst kids go hungry up and down the country that she ‘served’.

Think thats a bit unfair mate. If hes hiding behind the coffin its because ETH has told him to play that role (CBH-coffin behind hider) and to be honest he’s been great at it in the past. Just feel its finally time for us to see the Casemiro/Eriksen dynamic play out.

Such a ridiculous show of nonsensical traditions. The state of these lot parading around dressed in the most bizarre uniforms carrying swords. It’s all so fecking weird and frustrating to know that I pay towards it.
Youre having a whinge on a online manchester united forum. That says enough.

This pundit makes a lot of sense. What teams did he play for before he retired?

Nobody does the pageantry like the British. Literally everybody does the inequality though. That’s capitalism for you.

That's to do with the electoral system rather than the monarchy. 50 years ago Britain had more nationalised industries than any country in the world outside of the communist bloc. It also had an 83% tax rate on top earners. Britain was certainly more royalist then than it is now. FPTP is what allows the Tories near absolute power with only a quarter of the voting age population electing them. It allows a tyranny of the minority. If we had some sort of PR electoral system then this country would almost certainly be one of the most egalitarian in the West - monarchy or not.

Behind the right goal post as "Whiteside shoots!"

I had to carry my granddad in too.

There were the four male grandchildren +2. The weight was one thing, the pressure another (silence, everyone looking) but also the emotion of what I was doing.

I guess those soldiers didn't have the last bit (less of a personal link) but they had the second bit and then some.
