But my point was if you took out the 2 best forwards from every team in the league, in theory all the teams should still finish in the same positions. However I think Spurs would finish bottom half. Hence, my point was Kane and Son are more influential and more indispensable to spurs than any other teams best players. Over reliance. The rest of spurs team really is bang average quality.

Although Kane probably has a few more years left, I’d be more keen on us looking to invest in a younger more mobile striker where we can have a fluid front 3 similar to the Rashford, Martial, Greenwood combo.Kane will be 30 by the start of next season, do you guys think he is still worth it despite that? That's debatable as Bruno may benefit or rather can work with Kane better than those mentioned because he has elite workrate, positioning (off the ball runs etc) and very good finishing, which is more suited to a second striker (the way Son operates in some sense but more centrally).Kane will drop deep at will and kill Bruno’s career the same way he killed Eriksen / Dele.

Age isn't an absolute. Ronaldo scored 24 at 35/36 after all. First game I've been able to watch in a couple and that was pretty grim viewing after we conceded. Kulu is such a huge miss, we don't have anyone even slightly equivalent in the squad.
