Better. See what happens when the team actually passes forward and quickly? Makes the world of difference.

At least a decent chance. Awful attempt though.

Southgate’s persistence with players like Mount instead of Foden for example is painful sometimes.

England have been shocking. Only slightly better than the Welsh against the US in the 1st half. Hopefully the US tire out and choke in the 2nd like they did against Wales.

England are so poor.

Been funny listening to the pundits all week claiming they nothing to fear with Brazil etc based on beating Iran.

Harry Kane personally don't think should be starting for England at the moment. The hype about his injury and he should be playing no matter what is over the top. Wilson could do a job if needed.

In before a Kane hattrick

Alabama but always Wales in my heart
They could have buried that game in the first half. Wales were very lucky to be still in it.. And ten Zimmermann gifted them a pen.
They had 1 shot on target in the first half and Wales dominated them in the second half. The USA only have one way of playing and are not that hard to figure out, if Rob Page wasn't such an enormous bellend Wales would have won that match.

Shades of 1783 on the North American continent right now. England had the reputation and better organization, but the yanks won the battles on the pitch.

I'd think about taking Mount or Saka off at half time. Both are struggling.

England are so much better when they play with pace and one touch like that.

Unfortunately I think you are correct.

In the latter stages when they come up against the so-called better opponents, they will get absolutely embarrassingly hammered if they play anywhere as close like they are just now.
Agreed. I think they will step up though, they'll have to.

Good forward play by Shaw. I do feel his tendency to drift to the centre and let his man cross the ball unchallenged could cost England here

What England has played till half time eerily reminds of Manutd under ole. A lucky goal coming soon.
