What the team going to be for Tuesday, Rio aside. Is SAF going to play Veron in midfield or is going to stick with the team that played on Friday. Personally although I think Veron's game is well suited for European football, we need to get at the early. The longer we go without scoring the more nervous the team will get, and this could leave us vunerable to an unlikely break. I think we need to either start with RVN and Ole up front or with the team that played so well in the 2nd half against Chelsea.
Also i think if there is any question mark over Rio then we shouldn't play him. I can't see ZTE causing us many problems at the back so its not really worth risking him.

Lets face it now we have a couple of games under our belt we will blow ZTE away, irrespective of who plays and who doesn't,keep Rio until he is 100%

I gotta agree with the 4-4-2 and the omission of Nicky Butt. I think SAF should go with Scholesy ahead of Seba. I think Paul's driving run from midfield will do more to push the team forward. Having Seba on the bench would give us the option of adding a bit more control once we've got ahead of them

4-4-2 for me with Scholes on instead of Butt or Veron.

That second half against Chelsea was absolutely superb so I wouldn't be surprised if we see the team that started against Chelsea play on Tuesday.

My own preference would be 4-4-2 with Ole, Ruud, Becks, Keane, Scholesy, Giggs, Phil, John, Larry and Silvestre.

I think if our defence wasn't so mistake prone, I'd lean more towards 4-5-1 with the team that played on Friday. But regardless of whether we're playing 4-5-1 or 4-4-2, we seem to make really silly, stupid mistakes at the back at vital times. (The goal right before half-time against Bayer Leverkusen last year, the goal right before the end in the C.L. qualifier 2 weeks ago, the goal right before half-time against Chelsea on Friday.) Since we can't count on our defence shutting them down (which is a bit of a sad statement considering the fact that I don't think they're going to particularly ambitious and won't be venturing forward very often), I think our best chance is to try and outscore them. Realistically, I think we need 3 goals to have a good chance of going through and we'll have the best chance of doing that with Ole and Ruud starting.

That being said, I'd be very surprised if we didn't see 4-5-1 on Tuesday.

I hope I'm wrong but... I think Fergie's going to view 4-5-1 as the best way of controlling the match and of preventing them from scoring an early goal. If our defence was more reliable, I'd go along with that.

I guess for me, it comes down to: are you going to put your money on the defence doing a job for 90 plus minutes or would you rather put your money on Ruud/Ole to get us the goals we need. I'd put my money with our strikers every time.
