Has there been any push to change the legislation so far and why hasn't it worked? It seems like it would trouble quite a few clubs, enough to warrant some kind of a legal case.

One thing I noticed today in MD is the club is looking to make a change in terms of how the contracts are worded and compensated for poaching players on youth contracts from the current 1.7 million to 3 million. I have no idea how that is set up but that's a good start.

My understanding is that the Brexit would figure into this but there hasn't been much discussion on it of late.

Bigger issue will be voting in a new board who will prioritise the cantera like Laporta

Some players, like Bellerin, didn't leave because they weren't prioritised but due to the money being offered (Spanish clubs can't compensate at that age) but others (Eric Garcia going to City) not supported by club
