    I suppose you could call it studying, I spent most of my time in Basins on top of the Tricorn until it closed or at the pier or union at gigs or nursing a hangover on the beach the next morning. Did the first 2 years of an Architecture degree down there before figuring out it wasn't for me and transferring to Civil Engineering in the much duller (and probably easier to focus on studying) Coventry.
