£14m + Geremi for Becks

14m + Geremi? No thanks.

Latest story from Madrid is that Guti would definitely leave if Beckham arrives. Guti kind of remind me of Scholes and he'll be sensational in a deep lying midfield role. Maybe as cover for Scholes himself.

15m + Guti & Morientes would do fine for me.

The Straits Times, which is based in Singapore by the way, know shit. They are more popularly called the "Shitty Times" by SIngaporeans.

Those stories must be fabricated or something like that.

Bottom line is, Beckham never publically shown any wish to join Real.

I do like Guti. What makes you think I dont?

Real are so much better with him in their central midfield. He's pure class.

In the end it comes down to this: would we rather be screwed by Real Madrid or by David Beckham? I'd rather we not sell Beckham in that case to be honest. Not to anyone.

Real can feck off. We don't need Ronaldinho that badly - there have always been other options.

In that case the only one fecked off will be Manchester and Beckham, IMO if we are talking about football skills Ronaldino is better than Beckham.

honestly and don't get me wron but SAF shouldn't have said that he didn't want Beckham next year.

What is the Spanish media feeding you?!

Not Spanish media it's english I have hear an example I've found in an other forum

"
With deals planned for six players — two goalkeepers, a central defender, Ronaldinho, Kewell and David Bellion, the Sunderland forward — Ferguson wants Beckham to be sold as soon as possible, ideally to Barcelona. Numerous sources close to the England captain have said that he has no interest in moving to Catalonia at present, given that he would face at least one season without Champions League football, but that he could change his mind later in the summer if the Real option has failed to materialise.

You call that 'Fergie saying he doesn't want Beckham to stay'? Thats just a newspaper guessing what we want to do.

You're starting to get on my nerves.

I never said Beckham would not go to Real, therefore, I have nothing to 'see in a couple of weeks'. He probably will go to Real but even I can predict that.

As for the other thing, Fergie NEVER EVER EVER EVER told the public he did not want Beckham. Don't get me wrong, he DOESN'T want Beckham, but some newspaper quoteless article is hardly evidence.

Pay the fee, take the player, and just get out of my face.

disqualifications  you can do much better i don't even know how to express myself correctly in English, if you are on your nerves it's cause you know inside i'm right.

Ok lets say Fergie didn't say it. it's the same because it's what he wants and everyone knows it.

I might seem cocky but your board is doing a fecking amateur job with this beckham issue.

Our board will be judged on this issue when it's over.

As for Fergie, he did not say it, period. He definately thinks so and wants to sell Beckham, but he did not say it publically. This is simply a fact.

So why is everyone here talking about Madrid signing Beckham? till a couple of days ago Madrid didn't say anything...

Well i guess your are right in saying that we'll have to wait to see what happens to your board.

It doesn't matter what the deal ends up, The world will only see that Madrid again has stolen a football icon for their private collection.

You better win next CL. can wait seeing Beckham an Mcmananan lifting the cup. Can you imagine it? some people will get eager to the board.

Do you believe everything the press writes?

I don't need any reporter telling me Manchester United have decided to sell David Beckham. And thats all there is to it.

Megatron.

SAF and Becks have struggled to get along for sometime...

However, SAF would've wanted to keep him, had he been preforming on the pitch.....fact is he's our least versatile player.....and struggles to fit into our style of play.

I think its Real....who are over-estimating the cash you'd make from his name.

We want to sell....you want to buy.

simple.

No, i don't neither you but we both know that many people world wide do.

Let me put it clear.

Madrid has always been the club with more trophies but during the 90's Manchester has been the most admire club, more supporters better image, the richiest etc.

What Florentino wants with all this Zidanne,Figo,Ronaldo and Beckham is to change this, and little by little he is achieving it... recently we were name the richiest club which always has been Manchester etc. Don't argue this is only an example.

2 European cups in 4 years and the best known players, maybe Beckham isn't one of the best, but he is an icon and from Real biggest business Rival it's all about this.

Real wants to be without any doubt the best club world wide, everytime Beckham appear on Tv they will mention Madrid, just like they do know with Manchester. 30 millions is not money for that,
of course you think is worth to sell it, but image is not only about trophies

Fine, you deal with icons, we'll deal with trophies.

Last summer you bought a player you didn't need and could well finish the season empty handed. If you spend this summer's money on Beckham next season won't be any better.

Real are daft.

They need defenders...

If I were a fan, I'd be desperate for RM to buy Walter Samuel.... a player who'd make a difference.

Buying David Beckham will be huge mistake IMO..

(for both parties...)

Milan's the place where he should go.

We'll buy Zambrotta but he'll have to wait for next year :D

Honestly six years ago you hardly knew of the existance of Madrid comparing it with nowadays, things have changed a lot.

And it's all because of our policy. and talking about trophies... well nobody doubts it either so we will continue with the search of icons watch out for Ronaldino in a couple of years we'll come back for him

Good luck, and treat Beckham how he deserves, he's been united for 14 years. Sell him if you want but don't lose your class with your manners

Thank God Laporta won the election. Now Madrid will HAVE to match Barca's bid or they won't get Becks. The fool's thought the could screw us over for a 28 year old Becks when they paid Juve shit loads for an older Zidane. And If THEY don't come up with the money. Beck will have to fight for his place with Veron. So I think he will be convincing them to up the bad so every one wins!!! :D
