Imagine Google got the rights and just stuck all the matches on YouTube. YouTube premium subscribers (say 10-15 pounds a month) get all the matches live and without ads and can also watch any match on demand. Non premium YouTube watchers can watch 1 selected match per match day for free with the caveat of 30 second ads every 10 minutes or so. YouTube has a global audience of billions of people who watch it everyday and who would already see value in the premium service(no ads + YouTube music) now add the Premier league into that premium service and its an absolute no brainer and would print money.
