I’m merely correcting your false post. People come here for information, not to be misled by PNE fans guessing about things being passed as a likely event with no source provided. I’ve added context and corrected your misinformation so other people can know the actual situation around a player they’re interested in. Not my fault you can’t handle being corrected. Perhaps grow up or don’t post false info if you can’t handle it being corrected, you “plonker.”

Wow I asked for a source, how rude of me.
You are generally rude as feck, knowledgeable though to be fair

People come here for information, oh aye, they're chewing at the bit to get itk information regarding u23 players and their loan moves  you have provided no context and have not corrected anything. All you have done is prevented reasonable and fair debate from happening because of your rude manner and acting up as some beacon of knowledge regarding youth players and loan moves. But if it helps you sleep better tonight, sure let's go with that I couldn't bare being corrected :)
What are you banging on about itks for? No one needs to be itk to obtain basic reading comprehension.

Looks likely he'll be joining PNE on loan. His competition at LWB is former academy graduate Robbie Brady.
It doesn't look likely, so I've corrected that.

Its on the PNE fans forum and they've been linked with him by regional press.
It isn't on PNE fans' forum other than some hopeful guesses and the regional press makes no mention of him at all, so I've corrected that.

I provided context of what is actually said on their forum and in the press since you were incapable of doing it.

Here is the actual source too, since you couldn't provide that either.

All I've done is prevent pointless debate and discussion about a made up transfer because you're apparently incapable of reading and decided to mislead everyone with that. I simply asked you for a source which you couldn't do and then tried to vaguely reference local media and lost your shit when it was said they make no mention of Fernandez. But sure, let's pretend the LEP talked about Alvaro Fernandez being a likely deal if that helps you from the crushing heart break of a basic correction.

Never watched him play, is he any good as a left back at this level and why didn't he go on tour?

He's best played as a LWB as he isn't best defensively. A loan to a Championship team like PNE would be ideal, their manager plays with wing backs which suits Fernandez but he'll also have to get stuck in on the defensive side too.

He didn't go on tour because he's going out on loan and we have 3 LBs on the tour too, plus Williams back at home injured.

Very classy player. Tall, technically very good, nice passing range, fairly two footed and a goal threat. Better going forward than he is defensively. A little bit like Blind or [Irrelevant point]. Not the quickest for a fullback. He may even transition to more of a central role in the future, but that's guesswork.

As for his current level, it is yet to be proven. He is definitely one of our best academy hopes though and won our u23 player of the year last season. I'm pretty sure he didn't go on tour because it was planned in advance that he would be going out on loan this window.

Good for him to get a loan to the championship. I've talked in the r forum that I'm very concerned with his defending as its been weak when ive watched him in the team. He has shown a bit more going forward than when I first commented about him though. He does have a pass. Nothing crazy though. Still young enough to learn to be a solid defender but quite some way to go, hope he comes on leaps and bounds on loan

Would he be playing as a LCB in that back 5 or competing with Robbie Brady for LWB?

I'd quite like the idea of him being developed as a centre back.

Would be a good loan move that. Will come back a better player for 40 odd games in that league and you'd presume he'd be first choice

Hope he goes to North End, I've got a season ticket and he's one of my favourite youth players.

Do you think it's a good loan deal? Would love to hear about their playing style and how they use fullbacks.

Oh nice, the fact he's at Deepdale speaking with Ryan Lowe (PNE Manager) and Peter Ridsdale (PNE Chairman) in the tweet suggests it is indeed close and theyre trying their best to persuade him. I was only invested in the PNE link because I'm from Preston, it'll be a good loan for him.

I was only passing on information I was told, hopefully the chap on his high horse isn't confrontational with anyone else in the future when they want to post anything similar.

He'll get plenty of minutes, although his competition is Robbie Brady (also a former United youth) who's spent the last half decade as a PL full back so he'll have work to do to earn his spot. I'm not sure how Lowe plans to line up to be honest, he's a pretty attack minded manager so Fernandez will most likely get to do plenty of attacking which is where his best qualities lie, I actually envision his role being similar to how ten Hag utilises his full backs so it actually makes a lot of sense from our perspective.

Thank you, hopefully this will be like Garner's loan deal

I've not hyped him up too much to my North End supporting mates but I've got a feeling he'll do well, I really rate him, he's just very good with the ball.

Preston also loaned Troy Parrot. Could be an interesting team to watch this season
He was on loan to us last year and was crap, but we have specialised in making good players look awful recently.

Hopefully that all stops with McKenna.
