He’s not having a great season but Maldini in his prime would struggle with Vestergaard and Choudhury in a 3 with him
if everyone was fit Fofana would have over taken him, will likely go in the summer as he'll only have a year left on his deal

you've not seen Vestergaard play have you? can't run 6'6" but can't head, experienced but can't lead and his presence demands a system we're not very good at playing

Another hype Fofana. We love to hype Leicester defenders don’t we? Maguire, Soyuncu not long ago was the best thing since slice bread, Vestergaard was suppose to be a smart purchase, Johnny Evans shouldn’t have been sold from United and could have done a job here etc.

he got a bad groin injury at the start of last season and hasn't looked the same since, he has actually played well this season alongside Amartey who is a no nonsense stopper of a defender and it makes Cags play within himself more. Vestergaard's presence just seems to throw everyone off balance and last night was something like our 13th defensive combination of the system so not having a settled back 4 isn't helping either.
