I thought it was halfway into the season because of Fantasy football  Only dawned on me later that the actual schedule is for 17 weeks. So, just updating regardless

Bears the biggest surprise so far?

Yeah agreed, the Bears' record definitely is the biggest surprise but they're not a 5-1 team. They have a formidable defense and the offense just scrapes by so far, but that won't happen against high-powered teams like the Ravens or Chiefs imo.

Biggest surprises so far to me are Miami who've looked good on both sides of the ball, the Panthers not sucking balls (their secondary allows the fewest yards per pass attempt at around 6 if I'm not mistaken) and I guess the Rams being good again although I already thought that before the start of the season.

The Bills are coming back down to earth because they (and Allen) were never as good as their 4-0 start suggested. And I still hold out high hopes for Atlanta if their defense can keep them in games.

Updated rankings after Week 12 (bar the Ravens v Steelers which will see @backofthenet go 30-14 probably).

Joey Burrow going down fecked seriously fecked me, and Dan Quinn not getting fired earlier too

Thanks for updating @RobinLFC . Was thinking of updating them once all teams have finished with their bye weeks this week.

How wrong was I?!

In fairness SFO got totally decimated with injuries

And no one would have expected the Eagles to be THIS bad
Yeah Cowboys and Eagles among the biggest flops this season. Maybe Baltimore ahead of Eagles considering most would have picked both Ravens and Cowboys to go deep in the playoffs as well. But, they can still turn it around.

There’s been a lot of underwhelming teams. But in a lot of cases down to injury - such as the Cowboys and SFO and even the Eagles to an extent. I feel there’s also been other teams who haven’t turned up without injuries as an excuse - thinking Patriots (no one expected us to be great but probably not as bad as where we are now), Ravens and even the Texans to an extent.

On the other hand though, perhaps as a consequence, there’s been a number of teams who have surprisingly excelled this year. Titans and Colts, Cardinals made a step up overall, Dolphins and Bills too.

Funnily I expected all of those with the exception of Dolphins to do well. Think Rams are the ones who are doing much better than I expected. And also the Steelers - knew they would be good, but not 11-0 good
