Whitfield County, where Trump was last night, went roughly 15 points less for Republicans tonight v. the GE. Looks to be almost five to ten points difference than surrounding counties.

They also announced PA and the presidential election a day earlier to all media outlets. It's over. :D

Looking good! But alas even with a win of both seats, it’s still so tight that any significant reform might struggle with a few defections. But progress.

To be realistic, if they have any sane strategist in their organisation they should put in her charge of copying the strategy in Georgia in other states and districts all over the country where the Dems have a chance to flip seats. If they also find a way to exploit how insane the GOP has turned this is a game changer which might secure a solid Dem majority in both houses in the future.

They really should start analysing the current situation and find ways to exploit it.
First and foremost, they need to use this opportunity to bring in the progressive policies they promised during the election and that people want.

If they don't, they'll waste this chance and the extraordinary numbers we've seen here will simply go back to being apathetic in the future.

Evidence some republicans are tired of being associated with nutjobs.

Democrat Hispanics better be searching for their ‘Stacey Adams,’ only a matter of time until they will need one as acutely as African Americans did.

A bit of good news for Loeffler, most of her jeans and flannel shirts are still well within their 30-day return policy.

Yeah, that's the other important thing obviously. The Dems need to get their act together now.

But to me it seems like the work in Georgia might be a winning formula in order to rally voters, counter voter suppression and start flipping seats.

It is also not a mandate for the progressive part of the Dem party, but as you say, a mandate for a more inclusive Dem party which is more centrist and a saner alternative to the GOP.

People here don’t seem to realize that this is their smallest House majority in 90 years (when they have held the House) and lost a lot of contended House seats with progressive candidates.

nah

More a case that a lot of GOP voters right now are actually Trumpers.

With Trump claiming that their votes don’t count, they are inclined to stay at home.
