Biden needs Michigan or Wisconsin. Atleast 1
He needs both. Both are bluer than PA. If he loses one of them, then he loses PA too.

Of course there is some possibility that he wins Georgia (which doesn’t follow the same trend as those three states), in which case, sure, he can afford to lose one of those two states.

This thread was much busier when it looked like Trump was favourite.

Now Biden is looking like he might sneak the win, it's quiet.

It really is like a match day thread.

Bit unfair

I'm fairly certain he votes FrP in Norway based on his posts today. Just don't feed people like him anymore.
Nah, always AP before Støre, Høyre since then. Probably back to AP next election, to hopefully avoid mental parties like MDG, SV and SP from getting too much weight

CNN were saying that the senate doesn’t look good for the Dems. What’s the consequence of that? Struggle to get any meaningful legislation through?
No BidenCare, if supreme courts drops Obamacare it would be hard to have something meaningful adding for healthcare, no new judges (including SCOTUS if one of them drops dead or of the ancient Democrat SCOTUS wants to retire), no covid relief package, no new laws that make elections easier, etc etc.

Of course, this might change in 2022 when Dems are actually favorites to win the senate, but who knows, 2 years of a weak presidency can mean that the house flips in 2022.

What about the Senate? How it is looking at the moment and when should we know the who takes it?

Backs up the theory that people love the opportunity to moan far more than they like being content with things.

Perhaps getting a head of myself a little here, but is it feasible that a Biden presidency paves the way for Puerto Rico being able to have full voting rights come future elections? Could be a key win for the Dems going forward?

It's more like that results were coming thick and fast back then while now we're reduced to scraps, waiting for significant news.

Sadly yes.

BUT.

Making Trump a one term president, beating him, would send out a great message and serve as a warning to all the other right wing populist fat buffoon leaders out there.
Would it? Defeating Trump would be important of course, but given how fine the margins appear to be in most of the swing states it's hardly a condemnation of his presidency and personality.

CNN interviewed the chief philadelphia vote counting man (for lack of a better term) :

Philadelphia has >350k mail in votes of which 75k were counted then another 65k.

So they have another 210k left to count. That's a good source to start PA swing.

They are not stopping and will continue their count so no breaks on that front.

No. McConnell is gonna block it, and unless a miracle happens, he is gonna stay as Majority Leader for the next two years.

It would still be a loss even if not the landslide we hoped for.

It's very rare to have a one term US President, would be a humiliating defeat for him if it happens.

I'm not totally sure Puerto Rico would be the solidly blue state so many people think it would be.

Been watching youtube for a while so have missed some things. Has Trump’s lead in Michigan gone down from 300k to 200k in the last hour or so or am I remembering it wrong?
