2026 US Elections & Beyond

Unfortunately likely.

The Democrat candidate this year is pretty good, but she was still polling 3-5 points behind Graham.
So is the hope here that Trump forces McMaster to appoint someone so toxic that the gap closes?

-3.5 is shockingly close considering how entrenched Graham was in a very red state. Hopefully the GOP nominate someone with Platner level skeletons in the closet.
Plattner level skeletons would likely only enhance their chances. We need them to nominate someone who has a history of saying kind things about nonwhite christian men.

What happens in South Carolina now Lindsey Graham has died?
Well that explains my sudden urge to have a smoky and spicy tequila pineapple last night. May he rest well knowing he can look up at us and be proud of the continued work of making our country better.

Looks like Abdul is losing to a Gremlin. Not particularly unpredictable after McMurrow dropped out. He's also getting absolutely crushed by black voters.

that racial swing breakdown is going to cause some extremely vile responses from the tankies online if it plays out in the final result.

In case you didn't watch Trump's speech last night, here are the bulletpoints. Many of them have to do with the upcoming midterms...

We watched Trump's dangerous and deranged speech so you don't have to. Here are the moments you need to know about:

— He openly laid groundwork to challenge the midterms. He claimed our elections were "compromised," clearly setting up the justification to tamper with results before a single vote is counted.

— He said he'll "correct vulnerabilities" in our elections. Translation: he told you exactly what he plans to interfere with.

— He contradicted himself on China in real time. He first claimed China was "working to influence" and "undermining confidence" in him, then said he was doing a "great job" with them back when he made the claim. He couldn't keep his own conspiracy straight.

— He claimed China rigged the 2020 election, this time by getting journalists to write bad stories about him, because China supposedly wanted Biden to win since Trump was "wise to them."

— He said they found "burn bags" from the Obama Administration full of supposedly incriminating material, without ever saying what was actually in them.

— He said he needs "urgent measures" to stop our elections from being "hacked," citing Maduro's rigged machines in Venezuela in 2020 as his "evidence."

— He attacked networks for not airing him live, accusing them of being "part of the conspiracy to rig elections" and suggesting they should lose their broadcast licenses.

— He announced he wants to seize voter data from states he's deemed "vulnerable" ahead of the midterms.

This was a sitting president telegraphing, step by step, how he plans to undermine the 2026 midterms.

Ahhh yes, this fecking jackass. Not sure how the Director of Homeland Security really fits in the electoral process in this country but here we are...

Ossoff continues to impress with his Watergate prosecutor cosplay. Should be a contender in the next couple of cycles.

What happens if they do not win? Is God punishing him? Or just testing him?
They didn't pray hard enough, they were not...unremitting in their prayers.... miracles don't just happen you know!

Pretty consistent lead around +15% for El-Sayed now, even though they are throwing the kitchen sink at him in terms of ad spending. Very interesting case on the future of how to win elections, and the role of Israel in these primaries.

Some of the language and the way the press has converted him in recent days has been a disgrace. CNN are a disgrace.

He’s benefiting from Indys breaking his way on the Dem side. Still much work to do against a probable Republican in November.

The Dem establishment and the media will have the perfect scapegoat if he wins the primary and loses the general.

This would go both ways to be fair. The DSA side and their media will be quick to blame others if El-Sayed loses come general election time. Not good, but it is what it is now.

Yeah, this tug of war between the left and center of the party isn’t going anywhere. To be fair, he has some more mainstream endorsements as well, such as Warren, Van Hollen and a few other senators.

The centrist Dems could have found a more compelling candidate to oppose him. Stevens says some odd shit.

Yea, she just comes off as a bit of a goof too. He has a good bit of charisma, which goes a long way when attention counts for so much.

Hopefully they can win the seat whoever it is.

I mean, his name is El-Sayed, in a state that Trump won, is there really much else to be said there?

Hopefully, the morons stays home on election day.

Encouraging signs for the Senate. Need all of these numbers to stick for them to pull it off.

What do you mean? Israel doesn't go to you in your dreams?

Always worth posting the video

Pure Robocop vibes

It’s just so bizarre, and while this statement was made in 2023 she hasn’t done anything to indicate that she has changed her stance.

This could end up being really expensive for AIPAC, because they have already blown $30m on Stevens and if she loses they will have to support the Republican as well.

Very encouraging numbers. Wild that Texas now seems more in play for Dems than Michigan. Hope they can keep the momentum.

Interesting thanks. I did have a feeling her comments were made post October 7th but wasn't sure.

From the little I've seen she does seem to be a utter shit candidate.

Fully expecting AIPAC to do a full rebrand soon.
