Absolute lockdown performance. His 1v1 defending, as usual, is genuinely world class. This was the perfect game for him against two elite players who always want the ball to feet.

The best tackler in football currently. His duelling technique, both sliding and standing, is on par with titans like Cannavaro, Puyol or Chiellini.
Yes obviously the attacking aspect of his game needs polishing but he's still so young I have no doubt there's much development ahead. Brilliant purchase for adequate price.
He's a humble determined man so it's disappointing to see him succumb to lowly temptations of professional WAGs, but he'll learn from the experience and become even more dedicated.

I can’t recall seeing a full-back so consistent when it comes to tackling. He’s freakishly good at that element of the game.
