Academy players on international duty

I agree with you about Man United in the U18 level has a deep squad with good and quite good players. That's why we dominate and in the top rank.
Coaching staff is also quite competent.

By the way, we don't have many exceptional players. In U18 level, Max Dowman (Arsenal) and Luca williams-barnett (TOT) are two of exceptional talents I can think of.
They're not only superb on technical and vision but also great on physical aspect.

We may have some of very great talents but I can't say for sure any of them are exceptional players.
Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspurs are great with stacking those exceptional players.

I agree with this. I have seen just 1 game of Williams-Barnett and he looked very impressive. You touched on something as well, which is the importance of having players who tick high boxes both physically and technically. We often have players who are very high in one aspect but lacking in the other (usually physical).

One point which khoazany made which i agree with is that there seems to be a City and Chelsea bias.

Amass and Fletcher start. Amass captains the side & provided the assist for England's goal.

Gibraltar vs Czechia kicks off in an hour - Scanlon starts in an unchanged side. Game is on YouTube on viaPlay's channel, can't link because I don't have the permissions yet. I'm sure someone else can provide it.

Biancheri scored for Wales U19s in their 3-1 win over Turkey.

England & Wheatley sealed qualification to the Euros in the other group game with a 1-0 win over Portugal. Think he must've picked up a knock at some point though because after starting & scoring in the opening game he missed the 2nd entirely & was a unused sub today.

Silva Mexes just netted a beauty for Thailand against Uzbekistan in the AFC U17 Asian Cup opener, receiving the ball in the left half-space, gliding past a defender, and curling it low into the far corner.

U14 defender Joe Deighton is part of the Wales U15 squad for the Torneo Delle Nazioni. Their first group game is tomorrow against Italy, then they have the UAE before two knockout/placement matches.

JJ Gabriel has been named in the England U15 squad for the Vlatko Markovic tournament later this month.

Gus Murdock, Will's younger brother, is away with Northern Ireland's U14s for games against Spain & Qatar. He's on the bench against the former today.

Is he also a goalkeeper?
There's another brother playing midfield for Everton, right?

Jack Kingdon, who is still on our books, has been called up to the Scotland U20s squad.

Samuel Lusale has been called up to Slovakia's U18s for two games against Switzerland next week.

After having recently been with Scotland's U19s, James Overy has now been called up to Australia's U18 squad for the 'UEFA Friendship Cup'. Despite the name, should be a pretty competitive tournament. Argentina, USA & France their group stage opponents.

Jacob Devaney & Jack Moorhouse both called up to Ireland's U21s for friendlies against Croatia & Qatar. First call-up for Devaney at that level.

Chido Obi has been called up to Denmark's U20 squad for the Maurice Revello Tournament. He'll face Congo, Japan & Mexico in the group stage. Playing well above his age group as everyone else in their squad is either 2005 or 2004 born.

Sekou Kone is in the other group with Mali.

Overy started as Australia draw 0-0 against Argentina, before losing on pens.

Moorhouse has pulled out due to injury.

That's a shame. Given the squad options I'm sure Moorehouse would not look out of place training with the senior team. Great for Devaney with the U21s and hopefully can take his chance.

Lovely goal for James Scanlon just now vs Faroe Islands

Scanlon's goal was nominated for UEFA's Goal of the Round

Do we have any players in U19 or U21 euro championship right now?

Wheatley scored for England U19s in their 5-5(!) draw with Germany. After a poor cameo in the opening game against Norway, he was much better today.

Wheatley scored in a 4-2 loss against The Netherlands & had a decent game. England out in the group stage however.

Joe Deighton has been called up to Wales' U16 squad for the Gary Speed Cup later this month. Japan, Northern Ireland & Gibraltar the other nations involved.

Darlington Osuchukwu has been called up to Spain's U17s for a training camp later this month.

James Overy & Tyler Fletcher have been called up to Scotland's U19s for the Slovenia Nations Cup in September.

JJ Gabriel has been called up to the England U16 squad for two friendlies against Italy next week. Means he'll miss the 18s game against Brighton.

Scanlon again called up for Gibraltar for their friendly vs Albania and WCQ against Faroe Islands. Scored against the Faroes in June so would hope to do so again this time.
