Academy players on international duty

Joe Deighton in the Wales squad at the same tournament. Ronaldo Jr in Portugal's as well.

Former United player Cynan Holdsworth is also in the Welsh squad. Watched him a couple of years ago and was impressed but he then sort of disappeared for a while before popping up at Wrexham recently.

James Scanlon again in the Gibraltar senior squad, his brother Luca in the U21s

Darlington Osuchukwu called up to Spain's U17s for friendlies against Czechia. Set to be his international debut as his previous call-up was just a training camp + he didn't manage to make an appearance for England when called up by them.

Dan Armer & Tyler Fletcher in the Scotland U19 squad. Possibility of the twins being pitted against each other as England are one of their opponents.

Supposedly there's interest from several clubs in Spain as well as Ajax. Spanish passport means he would be able to leave from January.

James Overy called up to the Australian men's national squad!!

Lacey, Wheatley & Harrison in the England U20 squad. Lacey again the only member of the squad playing a year group up, even though it is a shame he isn't with the U19s for the qualifiers. But very difficult squad for him to get into that one.

Harry Amass & Jack Fletcher with England's U19s. Jack set to play against his twin brother who's with Scotland.

Bendito Mantato with two assists from LB for England U17s (U18s) at the World Cup against Haiti.

Harley Emsden-James called up to England's U17s for the first-time. Bit of an experimental squad after the absolutely shocking qualifying performance last week.

What's the deal with Ibragimov? Some passport issues? Surely he's good enough to be in any of the squads.

Jariyah Shah has received his first Australia call-up. He's with their U17s for Asian Cup qualifiers against Jordan, Bhutan, Philippines and Iraq.

Tyler Fletcher & Dan Armer start for Scotland in their opening U19 qualifier against Latvia. Fletcher captains the side & scored one of the goals, with the game currently 2-2 after 40 minutes.

I don't know about passport issues, but he has not been playing well recently from what I've seen of him. Seems to have stagnated, which is a shame.

U19 Qualifiers:

90 mins for Tyler Fletcher & Armer in Scotland's 2-2 draw with Latvia. Fletcher scored.

90 mins for Amass in England's 2-0 win over Lithuania. Jack Fletcher unused sub.

45 mins for Kana-Biyik in France's 4-0 win over Faroe Islands.

75 mins & 1 goal for Lusale in Slovakia's 3-0 win over Montenegro.

Murdock an unused sub for Northern Ireland in their 1-0 win over Malta.

Darlington Osuchukwu made his Spain U17 debut today, played 60 minutes in a 4-1 win over Czechia. Had a good game, made an excellent 1on1 save.

Apparently he recently changed his sports citizenship to Russia so he's not eligible to play for England for the time being.

Jariyah Shah has received his first Australia call-up. He's with their U17s for Asian Cup qualifiers against Jordan, Bhutan, Philippines and Iraq.

Prior to these qualifiers, Australia are also playing a friendly tournament against Ivory Coast, England & USA. Shah started today in a 1-0 loss to Ivory Coast.

Harley Emsden-James started & played 89 mins for England at the same tournament, as they beat USA 5-2.

Shea Lacey off the bench to score for England U20s against Japan. No stream but sounds like a good goal from commentary.

Scanlon with a classy assist for Liam Jessop to give Gibraltar the lead vs Montenegro but they lost 2-1 in the end. A nice run into the middle and a sublime through ball for the speedy winger Jessop to catch out the Montenegro defence and slot the ball past the keeper. Gibraltar are steadily getting better but seem to panic whenever they take the lead.
