I'll take him at Liverpool now. There's enough about him now to suggest that his decision making has improved. He's not purely a speed merchant anymore. Also he's probably the only winger i've seen to seriously trouble Robertson. He will keep the first choice wingers honest and can easily be brought on as a substitute and still maintain the intensity. Loads of times you see Klopp go for Shaqiri , Origi as plan B. That's all fine but Adama (If he adds a bit of defensive nous to the game) can deputize for Salah initially as welll as been looked at as a low cost alternative to some of the higher priced targets out there when Salah is moved on.
If you replace Salah with Traore you'd also need to replace Firmino with a scorer. Right now you're the ONE team in the world that has no place for him other than the bench

He'd slot in perfectly for City, Barcelona and probably Bayern Munich, and would be effective for Juventus since he's basically a right footed Douglas Costa who doesn't get injured and Sarri has shown the ability to use Douglas Costa as a game-breaking player despite his limitations

Imho the team that should break the bank for him(and he should be most interested in joining right now) is Inter. He'd be a game changer for them right now

Zaha is 4 years older, plays for a firmly mid-table club and his asking price is £80m.

Based on all that, how much do you think it would take for us to sell Traore?
The transfer fees for a player has a dependence on the player's personal preference , contract duration , wages too. There are plenty of clubs who can move players around at a fair equitable rate. I'm guessing somewhere around 50-60M GBP is a fair rate for Adama.

I'm talking of Salah being replaced 2 years down the line. Bobby's replacement would be much tougher considering he's the key to the entire attack functioning the way it is.

in my opinion, there is currently very little to no direct comparisons to a player like Traore. Many players are speed merchants but how many of those are also bulldozers at the same time. The guy brushed aside Robertson multiple times in the game, a true beast of a player that can also make fantastic passes

yes his manager right now is fantastic and we can see he has developed but while Nuno is great, Klopp and his analytics team is a step above. They will fine tune players and make them just that much better

mark my words, I believe Takumi Minamano will end up to be a really good player for them. Might not push Mane or Salah off the XI but once he gets time to learn the system and bulk up. He will be great.

Bissaka is considered a specialist when it comes to 1v1 defending, some may go as far to argue he's the very best in the world at it. To Adama's credit, there was a moment when he made going past Wan Bissaka look effortless.

Traore shrugged off Fred's tenacity and had him eating grass at one specific moment.

Matic is widely considered on here to be having a sort of resurgence lately. Now even if you disagree with that, even his detractors that talk about his lack of legs would admit that he's capable of relying on pure strength as a last resort to either A) win the ball B) Forcibly have the opponent stopped. There was a few examples during a menacing run of Traore that Matic was unable to forcibly bring him down.

Fabinho is considered by many EPL fans as one of the best dms in the world. In the second example posted by GifLord, I couldn't help but notice the way Fabinho was shrugged aside like he was completely irrelevant. There was another moment when Fabinho approached him, and Traore escaped him like he didn't even exist.

TAA gets lost of stick for his defensive duties. There's an implication there that those people perceive the full back on the other side as having the requisite ability defensively. Traore was beating Robertson at will. Traore was causing issues to Van Dijk.

Against Liverpool, he made a pass with his weaker foot that took 6 players out of the game.

Now I've mentioned him doing well against players that are considered to be in great form, or great players in general. He's also done well against both teams of good quality, as well as the lesser sides.

For me, his greatest quality is that he poses a vertical and lateral threat. You may expect an orthodox #9 to pose a threat to just the central defensive pairing. You may expect an orthodox hugline touching winger to pose a threat to just their opposite number. In Traore, you have a style encapsulated by youthful exuberance. The fact he can raise questions of both full backs in a single game, as well as commit central orientated midfielers is his greatest attribute in me. His second being the way he isn't intimated by established players

3.5 years back on his contract. Will be tough to get from Wolves. Great player, reminds me a bit of Valencia, but more skilful

He has power, strength, speed, and dribbling. His decision making is improving as well. He performed great against Man city and Liverpool this season and it is no fluke. He is one of a kind and I can see both Man City and Liverpool will be interested to take him this coming summer. He is a beast. I can see he will leave for 60-70M given his contract situation.

What do you think about Traore now? I knew back at Middlesbrough that he would turn out to be an effective player. He has been very good this season.
Still don’t think he’s very good. I can see him getting a move to a bigger club, but not really excelling there. Every possibility I’m wrong though.

Free transfer, contract 2025+1. Fulham were lacking a decent RW last season, but I’m not sure if he is the answer.

It depends what the question is.

If the question is “What do we do with all this baby oil?”, then he absolutely is!

Along with Havertz the most useless footballer I’ve seen in recent years.
Plays more like a American Football running back, or rugby player. Ok for breaking through lines or troubling a mid- paced FB I guess- you just have to keep up with him and ensure he has a simple pass on once he reaches anywhere near 18 yard box....

His main issue these days is that he has about 20- 30 mins of any intensity in him then he is busted. Far too much pointless bulk.
