I will never forgive them for Ali Hamam's goal! we would have qualifiedQatar have not been bad overall in the tournament but you would always expect they bought their way... it is quite the trend.
Don't think that much thought has gone into it, before making loose statements.I am no Qatar fan, but that's the furthest thing from truth. The tournament is hosted in UAE, who are Qatar's biggest enemy (alongside the Saudis now). Cheering for Qatar could be punishable with 15 years in prison in UAE. My best friend works for Emirates and lives in Dubai and he can't wear his Barcelona jersey in public anymore.
This is what makes it even more impressive. Qatar absolutely dicked on both Saudi and UAE...also beat very solid Asian powerhouses like Iraq, S.Korea and Japan on the way to the trophy. This is one of the most deserved Asian championships of all time. Winning a tournament with scoring 20 goals and conceding only 1 at the turf of your second biggest geopolitical enemy is no rigging.
Really, fair play to them.
Indeed. Funnily it couldn’t be further from truth. In reality, Saudis are the only true 100% Arabs. For some people, Qatar , UAE and KSA are just the same. Islam, Muslims, Arabs are monolithic.

they bring talents, like their CB Alrawi who is the son of the iraqi international CB Alrawi, and the coincidence was he scored against his original national team and kicked Iraq out of the tournament.Aspire is definitely the best academy in Asia but do they develop local kids or bring talented kids from all over the world and develop them for Qatar national team?
Load of crap, if you watched the games they deserved to win each one they won. This match and probably this whole tournament is clearly rigged for Qatar to win it all since day one. What a farce. Football the beautiful game.
Fair enough. You were right about Qatar. Probably the impact of their excellent Academy there. Still keep my opinion Japan has a lot of interesting players for the future.Load of crap, if you watched the games they deserved to win each one they won.
That Almoez Ali kid won two MvP back to back in two tournaments. European clubs might want to keep an eye on him.
They’ve mostly played for the smaller Qatari-owned European clubs like Eupen, Cultural Leonesa and LASK Linz, so it doesn’t really count. Are any of the Qatar players currently playing for European clubs?
