AFCON 2025

Oh well Amad and Mbuemo back is only a good thing. But think Mazraoui and Morocco will probably win the whole thing.

Ivory Coast forgot to show up

Funny that Salah's best Afcon showings have come in 2017(pre-prime) and 2026(post-prime)

Getting Amad back for City is huge. I’d have him ahead of Mbeumo

Yeah, Fletcher has quite the decision to make. On one hand you have Mbeumo who is better at running behind defenders and using his pace which would be great now that Bruno is back in the 10 role, but on the other you have Amad's dribbling ability that could be devastating for City's defenders. Hmm..

Play for corners and scramble around the area I guess. Most of the game it's just been pass it out to the flanks and have Doue spam a cross into a man surrounded by five defenders, or Diomande run into a brick wall.

Egypt clinging on now. Wasting plenty of time so will be 7-8 minutes injury time no problem.

First rule of African football.

Never go behind to a North African team. They are so extremely frustrating to play against when they turn on the cheating and play acting.

Ref books Egypt keeper for timewasting during injury time and blows straight on 95 minutes.

So this stuff dosen't just happen in the prem.

Think Morocco will edge Nigeria with home advantage. Senegal should win based on their 11 compared to Egypt but as said above Senegal had some slow starts in this competition and you don't want to be falling behind early to Egypt.
