He's obviously good and talented player but he thinks he's much bigger and better than what he actually is.

I'm not a big fan of xG but his for last season in PL was iirc 9 expected goals but he got 6. Not 100% sure but remember the one Rashford squared for him to tap in and he fluffed it wide (people blamed the pass, it wasnt perfect but it should been put away). I seem to recall a lot of chances 1v1 that he made a meal of. His composure is awful. I believe he would of had way more than 9 PL goals if his composure was better.

It is a shame because the lad does have talent. However, they must sell him. His attitude is wrong, priorities are wrong (seemingly more interested in eyebrow trims and hair dye than improving his game) and as you say, his composure in the final third is atrocious. Another major flaw is he falls over like one of those Chinese robots they had playing football recently

Really wouldn't take much development for Garnacho to become a 15-20 goal a season player in all competitions, he carries a goal threat, consistently gets into dangerous areas but his finishing and composure has been poor/inconsistent.

I think the stance here is shortsighted, he is 21 on Tuesday, giving up on him maturing as a person or continuing to develop as a player on the back on what seem relatively mild social media comments looks a mistake to me, especially at a cut price.

Its not shortsighted... If you want to be treated as a important first team player... immaturity should not be an excuse.

If he was a bench player and happy to bide his time, not throw tantrums when he doesn't start... you could say he is immature but he wants to be treated as a top player.

People used to same about Rashford that his inconsistencies will improve with age... only to get worse.

Finally, he cannot adapt his game either, he can only play as a winger.
