Good to see that this story is disappearing and the only club been linked with him is Spurs.
For those highlighted in bold, whilst there will be savings in their salaries, their original transfer fees have still not been fully amortised, meaning that unless they are sold with transfer fees that at least match the outstanding amortisation values, then on the books that will go down as a loss, and thus impact the PSR rules.
So they can't just be 'let go'. There needs to be buyers for them that will be willing to pay those transfer fees.

From what was reported that was in line with what Kvaratshkelia was earning at Napoli so I guess they assumed as a 20 year old Garnacho would settle for a small bump on his current salary whereas he probably was looking for something close to the Osimhen salary. I am sure they could have met in the middle somewhere if their bid had been accepted but now they want to try and smear the player because their own fans are upset that a star player left midway through a title challenge and has not been replaced.
What he’s earning at United might be completely different to what he’s asking for to move to Napoli.
