Maybe Woody can sign this guy?
Why? he's already shown he can't hack the pace of the PL anymore.

Let Inter take him off our books, glad he's doing well for them so they'll probably but him.

Phwoar he's definitely worth at least £50 million now with all these goalas and assists

If his drop in performance levels was due to burnout then the break might have helpedhim back towards being a worldie. Not just in italy

The better he's performing the better our chance to sell him. I'm pretty sure Inter wants to make him their permanent signing but his wages is the issue. Hope Sanchez can just stop be stubborn and take the pay cut to join Inter. Physically he's finished in PL, he's much better playing in Serie A with less physical & high intense game, more tactical game. He's looking more nailed on to play regular with Inter than us, and Inter isn't some shite team in Italy, they can challenge the league.

I'd be delighted if this late season purple patch gets him a permanent move, the hole he's burning in our wage packet even while in Italy is crazy

Seria A is perfect for him as it's usually more lenient for players in his age bracket and position.

Say we get 3rd or 4th tomorrow and want to use the squad a bit in the Europa, would Alexis (and Smalling) be elegible for it?

Bruno has played for Sporting in it this season, so I imagine they’re eligible?!

Pleasantly surprised he's doing well. Hopefully he'll continue to do well in the Italian league (or at least until we get him off the books).

Heard he's benching Lautaro now. Funny
Lautaro started and Sanchez was on the bench today. They're just rotating.
I mean... Can they afford his wages? Can anyone bar City and PSG?
I doubt he will get the same amount, maybe we will have to pay him out the rest of our contract when he leaves anyway.

Right now I think he'd rather earn less and play more. He definitely doesn't want to come back that's for sure.

I don't think we can since we're not allowed to register any players anymore, it was closed in January. It's like Ziyech & Sane aren't allowed to feature in CL next month with Chelsea/Bayern.

If Inter won’t pay for him and he does come back, would moving him further back to provide cover Bruno cover up his loss of pace? It seems his passing/chance creation is still a strength, move him to a 10/8 role?

Hope, We Lose
If it wasnt for the huge wages I'd be happy enough to see him given another chance next season to see how he does now we've made our attacking football breakthrough since Fernandes came in. When he's actually been fit for Inter. In 839 mins he's managed 8 assists and 4 goals, so around 70 minutes per assist or goal.

For the full season Rashford is United's best with a goal or assist every 106.8 minutes

Before you baulk at that, obviously Sanchez has played a lot less football so when he's played he's probably been more fresh and its easier to be consistent in fewer games. The point is that when he has played, he's done everything he could do to show that he could be a good attacking option to our squad.

But

At 31 and only being fit for 839 mins, we should still sell him unless he wanted to sign a contract with much much lower wages to represent being a squad player rather than a star player.

Inter have Lukaku and Martinez, I dont think he's worth them pushing the boat out but maybe Milan could give him Ibrahimovic's wages as he's 38 years old, or something like that. Maybe Sevilla or Atletico could stretch to accomodate him in an attempt to catch the top tier clubs.

He looks a rejuvenated player since the restart with so much energy. Reminds me of the player that was doing so well for Arsenal.

Inter fans are loving him and have said he's been their best player.

Hopefully this patch is enough to convince Inter to buy him and we get rid of him and thosd ridiculos wages.

With Martinez likely going to Barca, Sanchez to Inter as a stopgap/squad player makes all the sense in the world

Good to see Inter have done some good business with us over the past 12 months, do they not need a new goalie, considering Handanovic is 36 now?

He's very unlikely to agree to a paycut (who in the world would?) so we should do the smart thing and sell him for no fee and cover like 25% of his remaining wages. People may baulk at that but 1) We got him for free 2) We'd really be saving 75% of his wages vs now for a player who doesn't contribute.

Given his touch and lack of pace when he was here I sincerely doubt he'll be able to replicate much at United. Time to cut our losses I feel.

Hopefully this persuades Inter to take him off our hands. Serie A seems to suit him and there's absolutely no way he would offer anything coming back here. The sooner the better he's off the books and we can pretend this whole thing never happened.

I disagree, it’s not in United’s best interest to retain his services and not play him, he’s going to be loaned regardless and play wherever his is loaned. The amount of people who think it’d be fine taking a 30/40% pay cut is all good astounds me. He’s wanting to bank as much cash as possible, as this is his retirement fund. Why on earth would he reduce his earning power? Unless he gets a longer contract on lower wages, there is no actual benefit to him. He can do an Ozil at the end of the day if he so wishes.
