Similar to Lukaku I just want rid now. I know we're leaving ourselves ridiculously light in attack but this kind of painful reckoning was always likely after we threw money around for the wrong players window after window. Moving on from this era quickly is best for all concerned.
If he is as bad an influence as Lukaku in the dressing room, he should go. If not, he can still be useful.

We shoul let him leave for Inter, even if this mean paying him 2/3 of his wages, it will be better to pay 12M euros rather than 24M euros on our side.

If he is so desperate to leave, he should be able to make the move on only half wages. I am sure him & the dogs can get by on £190,000 a week.
He reminds me of Tomas Brolin when he went to Leeds. Howard Wilkinson said that he watched him in training one day and came to the realization that he had fallen out of love with football and I think Alexis is the same. He doesn't want to move to play games for the love of playing otherwise he would take a drop in salary. He wants to move so he can get his 75,000 appearance fee every week on top of the stupid salary he already earns because money is all he is interested in.
He gives his all on the pitch but unfortunately that just isn't good enough now. I don't think he's fallen out of love with football, I think he's desperate to be the man he used to be but he now has to accept that his body can't do it anymore.
So they want us to weaken our squad and pay £300k per week for the privilege?
His salary can only change if it's a permanent deal, which as far as we know no club has offered. If this is only a loan his current contract has to be honoured, and it's up to the two clubs to decide how to split the wage bill. It's not his decision.
You do bring up a good point about his ridiculous appearance fee though. I'm not sure what happens to that. If I were to take a guess it would state in his contract that it only applies to first team games for Manchester United, so he'd actually never get that again by going out on loan. That's only a guess though, and there's a chance that it would still have to honoured in which case it would be another thing that the two clubs would have to sort out between each other.
If I'm right and he would no longer get the appearance fee by going out on loan, it actually shows the exact opposite of what you've claimed in your post. It would show that he'd prefer to go somewhere else for game-time even though he'd lose some of his wage, and then hopefully get a full transfer the following season when Inter have the money to make it permanent even though they would never match his current wages.
I think it's possible he lost the will to play for whatever reason.
I've seen players who were physical shadows of their former selves do something brilliant once in a while to make you remember who they were. Ronaldinho and Rooney come to mind. I've seen none of that in Alexis.
That's the thing, I think he actually puts work in, his mind is willing but his body isn't. Let's not forget he didn't take a break for 6 years and still continues to play international football, a man falling out of love with the gang e would have retired from international football. Ultimately all the football has taken its toll on his body but I think he still wants to play.
Can he not do a better job than Lingard and Pereira by just pressing in the #10 position for 90 minutes.

Sanchez was only ever good at pressing when the ball is fairly close to him. Arsenal fans used to hate how lazy he became as soon as the ball got away from him and he'd just slowly walk/jog back.

No point in cheap c**ts like Juve or Inter meeting anyone. Someone needs to pay up the big money for his salary. Anything else is not worth discussing
If that is the case, we could just sit down with Sanchez, told him he won’t get his 75k appearance fee anyway even if he choose to stay, as we won’t play him. So after deducting his appearance fee, all we need is to get Inter to share half of the remaining salary.
Looks like we are stuck with him. Use him when we need him,it's better than warming the bench for 500k a week.

Exactly, dont give it to any new signing and let someone earn it. The number 7 shirt is has practically become a symbol for everything wrong at United at the moment (albeit its farcical situation has been going on for arguably a longer time even). Either overpaid past it players who dont deserve it or players who simply aren't good enough. I wouldnt even give it to Sancho at this stage if he was to arrive next summer, wait until the season after and see who of the current crop then deserves it by what they have done on the pitch.

We significantly overpaid him on a wages front. Given his performances, he isn't going to be an asset for another club even paying half of his wages. Therefore, we're going to have to pay around 60/70% to have another club take him off of our hands. It's either that or keep him around while paying 100% of his wages for his unproductivity.

He could perhaps revive his career in Italy. However, if he has lost his love for the game then he'll probably just be happy to wait it out here and collect his wages without contributing much.
