I’m not crazy about the monetizing everything aspect of sports, though it’s the capitalist system we adhere to as a global society that dictates it more than what any fan, club or player do.

Still I would assume it as a given that the actual capital benefit of it is measured in how it affects marketability. The main money comes from everywhere and are difficult to assess accurately.
 
I'd like to see that half time team talk. Carrick must have given them a bollocking. OR an anti climatic death stare. :lol:

Yeah, he doesn't look like the sort of guy to give a bollocking. Still he must have said something cause our performance in both halves was very different.
 
Don’t like the idea of it in terms of it can’t be helpful for our performance?

However I think this is worth a lot more than £10m to the club. We cannot fall behind. We need to continue to grow our global brand off the pitch even if on the pitch we’re not helping ourselves.

Will probably have the oposite effect.
 
Probably in the minority but Im actually looking forward to this. Very curious how the team interacts with one another and how Carrick carries himself as a manager. I think the concerns of this being a distraction may be a bit overblown as the life of a footballer is one huge distraction. They should be fine giving a few extra interviews.
