I think this deserves it's own thread.

The ticket info thread will probably get overloaded.

Anyway flight tickets look pretty expensive already.

 Exactly. Although still unsure over this whole ID thing.

i just checked and flights going out the day before and coming back day after are still cheap from London but the ticket situation does not look good - only 19,500 tickets and obviously a lot more season ticket holders ...

Planning on flying down there without the ticket, soaking up the event.

Let me be the first to say in this thread......

I WILL BE THERE IN THE OLYMPIC STADIUM IN ROME ON 27th MAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

i'd beg borrow or feckin steal to get to the final this time. missed the last two.
not going to let it happen this time by hook or by crook.

any irish reds know of any deals with the Dublin travel agents?

I want to go and can afford it but am only a OU member so getting a ticket through official means will be remote. Need a ST holder that doesn't want to apply but my network of them is as small of my chance of getting one in the ballot.

Before the match I thought that I'm not even thinking about going but now... I fecking want to go!! 260€ flights means that I have to BJ my 135€ betting account(or get a good 2.0 odd single)...

How does that ID thing work?? Is it possible to get someones ticket if they decide not to go but have already bought the ticket under their own name?

We're discussing/arguing over it now, probably will be WELL into tomorrow. lol Trying to gain clearance from the matriarch you see.

We are not season ticket holders so that is a complication but investigations have been made [direct and indirect routes :)]. Leaning toward doing a fair bit of rail travel at the minute.

Found flights for 155 to and from Florence get there on the 26 leave on the 28th

Flights nice hotel in the centre of Rome myself and the wife for 4 nights from the 25th May 250 euro each, booked in January though

I'm looking at that as well.

I'm arriving in Milan on the 25th. Can't find any cheap return flights though.

What time you getting in mate?

I'm doing the same.

Still looking for away back.

Just a suggestion, but it wouldn't be to hard for a group of you to get together and hire a coach. Would be a bit of a mission, but would work out alot cheaper than other methods.

330 pm.

I have a friend in Milan so might stay in Milan that night before heading down to Rome the next day.

I know an italian lady that says flying to Florence and taking train works out cheaper than flying to Rome

I got the train all the way there earlier this year in under 24 hours - an adventure!

I doubt I'll get a ticket, but I wanna be there!

Same, My dad's in queue at TO now.

Also got this guy who can authorise our application earlier than everybody else apparently. He did it for us last year, so hopefully will do it this year.

See you in rome lads

Lucky man!

See you there...

fecking unbelievable, I have an exam 19.00-21.00 on the 27th of May

I HAVE to go this year somehow.....please please.

I'm only a One United member though, although i am trying other routes. I know a few ST Holders and Execs so will have to see. Fingers crossed!

if its anything like barcelona, you wont have any problems getting a ticket outside the ground, i ended up paying 250 quid for a ticket but would of gone much higher!!

in 99 we looked at flights to barcelona and were getting quoted ridiculous amounts of money, so we ended up booking the cheapest nastiest all inclusive 1 week holiday we could find in spain (180 quid for a week in salou) which meant we could celebrate in the sun for a few days after the match!!

look for yourselves at not only flights but at cheapo holidays and you might be surprised at what you can find!!
