All ticket/travel information thread - 2024-25 edition - Ticket Purchasing FAQ in OP. Please read it and be careful purchasing tickets

Loads of tickets in the Stretford end 'atmosphere section" that was 'sold out' to members in last week's ticket drop now available at £299 a pop for Newcastle at home.

I've emailed the club asking about this total piss take - not for the first time.
I can confirm this, I got mine for 150 pounds on that section from a reselling site.

I am looking for 2 tickets for Everton at home (1st dec 24) and one for Arsenal away (5th dec 2024).

I am first time going to watch a Utd match. So would really appreciate if someone can guide which websites to buy authentic tickets from, worried about getting scammed.

Can somebody please tell me the best websites for ticket purchasing? Should be authentic please.

Man Utd official site for Everton , you won’t get 2 together . Arsenal I’d say forget about it and if you are offered an Arsenal away it’s probably a scam .

Every chance he gets a pair for Everton on here but appreciate when travelling from abroad you want the certainty.

So just checked the Official website, got myself signed up, I am able to get tickets for Everton but stands appear to be behind goal and upper tiers and 199 Pound per ticket, whereas for Europa league match, the tickets are very cheap and side stands near goal, which is a better option any advice?

Are you able to make the Europa game v Bodo? If so, I think if you can wait 24hours someone on here may have a pair available.

Certainly a good chance for you to get tickets for both Everton and that game.

Away games are impossible unless you pay silly prices or touts which we are not going to advise on here.

Yes i am travelling to London on Sunday morning for 2 weeks, so I can watch the Europa league Bodo match, Everton Home or Arsenal away. I can manage to two matches, the problem is i am coming for work assignment and my hotel is in London, will it be difficult to travel back from Manchester on weekdays? I know the question may sound stupid but i am a first time traveler. So not really sure.

Have 4 together in N3406 for Bodo if you need a pair!

Not a stupid question at all.

Travel back from Manchester on the same night to London will be tricky - not in a position to check for you at the minute but I'd have thought it will be to late for a train and a coach home would be time consuming and arrive in the early hours.

Hopefully you will get some other good advice on here otherwise I'll check the London Supporters coach details for you tomorrow.

Another potentially obvious question here but a considerate caffer has offered me a ticket to the Newcastle game in December. Would folk here suggest taking a picture of the ticket or sending the QR code, in terms of the best way to transfer it?

There is an official transfer method if you have a membership mate. The ticket will be sent over and be in your name - assuming the sender is legit etc.

Brilliant, will do that then - thank you for the very quick response, mate!

No problem - you will just need to access the ticket through the Utd app with a normal or lite membership, or via your Google/Apple wallet if you have a forwarding only membership (sounds more complicated than it is - you'll be fine!).

I think by the time the evening games finish (Bodo), the direct/quicker trains to London will be done. Theres a direct Euston to Piccadilly Dec 1st (Everton game), gets in 12.04, plenty of time to get to ground for 1.30 kickoff. Back 4.15. £106?

(Try Trainline or Trainsplit apps)

I know Utdheap has replied but fyi, I don’t think pictures of the tickets work.

Train prices are disgusting.
Ahuh, I go down to London a few times a year and if book we’ll in advance, can get quite a bit cheaper but if you’re anywhere near to the date, doubt if can get for under £90… the times I quoted are direct though (which I’d pay more for) so quite quick. About 2 1/2 hours.

I am also leaning towards Everton, keeping all these factors in mind. The main thing is tickets on the official website is around 199 pounds per ticket. Seems pricey. Plus the seats are at very closer to behind the goal. However, i don't trust any website since its the first time i am going, not even sure how to transfer if somebody is selling from here, as i just recently signed up to official website.

I live in the Midlands and get to Manchester via our supporters coach for £20 round trip. I'd much rather travel by train, but struggle to justify the extra £60-80. All the more irritating because getting to London from where I live is only £20-30.

Avanti super fare is fantastic. Book a week or more in advance and it's £20. Highly recommend anyone looking it up.

Link for the London fan club… https://www.bookmufc.com/ if want to check bus.

Yeah, as I live closer (and there’s three of us), we just take it in turns to drive and park at The Lowry, but I do miss the supporters coaches

Great shout, I just booked a ticket there based on your recommendation, cheers for all the advice you provide in this thread, Heap!

Nice one glad to be of occasional help and not just arsey-ness

Are you sure? I'm going with a friend (who is not a member) and he is borrowing a membership.. a screenshot of the ticket should surely be enough?

The app won't allow you to take screenshots but if you take a photo of the ticket barcode from a different phone it works.

Be careful with screenshots. Not sure they work anymore - might even be disabled on the app as an option

I’m sure a photograph of the ticket works thoughh

Hey again helpful caf ticketers... is it right that only season ticket holders can transfer tickets via the app?
Yes but if it's someone you trust you can create an app ticketing relationship that will allow someone else to access/use your ticket.

Hi All, traveling first time to watch a match. I currently have no membership. I need two tickets for Everton at home and one for Arsenal away. As I am told by a few helpful members. I don’t need to buy full membership, I can just get the forwarding membership but everytime I need a ticket I need to get it, so in my case it would be 60 pounds (20 each for 3 tickets). Would it not be more beneficial to get full membership. I am just going for two weeks so won’t have any use of membership, what do you guys suggest?

Plus how the transfer of tickets will work, in both cases. Kindly advice, would really appreciate.

You don't need to get the forwarding membership. Just sign up and you will get a membership number. When someone then forwards you the tickets, there will be an additional £10 charge per ticket as you don't have forwarding membership.
