Can I ask where you get on that train.?
I see there's a train from Oxford Station to Liverpool via Warrington that goes by Trafford park Station. Do trains stop there on match day
Trains haven’t stopped at the ground for years, depending on how long you have after the game, just jump on the tram and get off at Deasgate or St Peter’s Square and it’s a short walk to Oxford Road station where you will get the train to the place whose name we can’t mention.

Cheers... Trafford Park Station is 2km from the stadium. I'll need to be on train for 5.30pm and match ends about 2.30 so plenty of time.

For anyone looking to get a ticket to United Vs Palace at the end of Feb...this will definitely get moved as Palace are playing in the conference play off on 19th and 26th Feb.

Should have one spare ticket for tonight, going cheap. Price depends on you, as I´ll be asking for a little donation to be made to the Trafford North Food Bank. Tickets will only be available 3hrs before kick-off though, and anyone interested would need to come in with me.

Mate has blobbed last minute for Grounds for Divorce reasons.

So I'll be at the Wolves games with my two teenage kids, staying near the station.

What will be the best way of getting to OT from central Manchester and specifically, what is the best way to get back after the game?

Appreciate any advice.

Tram from Piccadilly to either Old Trafford or Exchange Quay and return the same way

Any spares in Tier 2 Stretford End going for Wolves? Ideally 3104 but would take other sections. Just need a single - cheers

There are busse lined up at the top of sir Matt Busby way that go back to Piccadilly after the game or there use to be i have lived abroad 19 months. Think the fare was £3 for adult don't know about kids. They get full pretty quick so leave a few minutes from the end we will be 5. up by then ha ha

Thanks - what's the wait to get on like on the way back?
Your best bet is to get on at Salford Quays, it’s the one before Exchange Quays but easier to get on especially if you have kids, it’s the same distance from the ground but you get on before the crush.
There is also Wharfside right outside the ground but with the usual brilliant planning it only goes as far as Deansgate.
The other choice is the cricket ground , but that also is very busy

It depends. If you get up and watch injury time from the steps in the terraces and walk quickly, you’ll be fine.

If you stay until the players leave the pitch, more likely to queue, also depends what stand you’re in. If you’re in stretford end, you’ll need to get a jog on to beat the queues, if you’re in the east stand, there’s a little more wiggle room

Have two spare in N2401. DM me. Will offer them up for anyone else if I don’t here back from Ellben by this evening.
Thank you for replying, I managed to get one earlier this morning!

If anyone has a Stretty pair for tomorrow going spare, I'll take them off your hands. Both have memberships; 1x adult, 1x U16.

No problem if both tickets are adults.

Could also walk it. It's about an hour from OT to Piccadilly if you walk at a decent pace. I like to avoid the crush so that's what I typically. do.

Need to source two extra tickets for Spurs if anyone can help. Please send me a DM.
