All ticket/travel information thread - 2024-25 edition - Ticket Purchasing FAQ in OP. Please read it and be careful purchasing tickets

After a single for Forest, needs to be in W15 or W16 so I can take my lad. Been able to sort most on the website for him this season but struggling for this

Would like to be there at 4:30 pm. Need to allow time to pick up bags from bag drop after the match.

Assuming match ends at 2:30 PM, I would suggest to take the coach (arranged for post matches) to Manchester Piccadilly. You should reach there by 3-3:10 PM. Airport is another 20 mins from Piccadilly which should leave you sufficient time.

I'd get an Uber. Maybe walk for 10/15 minutes first.

Worth noting that with it being last game, I reckon at majority of the ground will still be in the ground for the lap of appreciation.
I could pre-book an Uber but need to find a suitable pickup-point that avoids the worst traffic jams. Any suggestions?

Walk to Firswood area and get it from there. If you leave OT at full time, you'll probably avoid the worst of the traffic if a decent % stay at the end.

Honestly I would just walk from Old Trafford to Salford Crescent train station. Probably a 40min walk and can get train straight to the airport. Walk is a piece of piss too straight up Trafford Road.

Other than that yeh id just walk for 15min or so and get a taxi. No idea how straight forward that is though.

Edit: oh actually I'm completely ignoring the fact you'll have a shit load of luggage if you're going to the airport so a 2 mile walk perhaps not appropriate

In that case leave at full time. Dont stick around for lap of honour or manager speech. Shouldn't be too busy then.

I also wouldn't trust pre booking an uber. Its no guarantee it will actually show up.

Railway bar

You can get a train direct from Trafford Bar to airport also. It takes about an hour

I don't even know if it's possible for fans to sell away tickets anymore and I don't have anything but cash to offer people but, as a local to the Amex these days, if anyone has a spare for Sunday and is able to pass it on... Hello!

Only if they are paper tickets - which is very rare, essentially always digital now.

Yeah, I figured that was the case but I'm going to ask every time we're playing Brighton regardless haha, cheers for the reply.

I have a cup ST purely to climb up the normal ST wait list ladder.

Does anyone know if you get penalised for forwarding games onto other members?

Also, if I forward my ticket on does anyone know if I can then be forwarded a different ticket?

Scenario is that i have a friend whos a ST holder but he currently lives in Japan, so he forwards me his ticket for every game. The seats are SE lower and amazing, whereas my cup ST is east stand.

Id rather forward my cup ST to other people then still have my mate forward his ticket to me. Does anyone know if thats possible?

Think that’s fine.

I forward tickets all the time with my ST, so can’t see it being different with a cup one.

Can you still receive a forwarded ticket if you've forwarded yours though?

I don't think you can receive forwarded tickets on a ST

CSTs might be different as they are only for cup games, so you should be able to receive league games on it

That sucks. Didn’t manage to get one for me and my lad as he’s under 16 and can’t be a premium member. They said I could book my ticket and his separate which would be utterly pointless so we had to wait for the normal member time slot at which point they were all gone.

Thats ridiculous that he suffers because of his age. Well, the whole thing is ridiculous when you think about it. To put myself in the best position for a ST I need to:

Be a premium member
Have paid a £100 deposit
Have a cup ST
.. and be on the wait list of course.

It’s mad because we know people that got a ST within 3 years just by phoning the ticket office on the right day.

General question. If I'm a membership holder (one that allows me to buy tickets of the site), and have a couple of friends who hold the same membership, how can I try and purchase 3 tickets from the website? Assuming I get 3 seats together in the queue during a ticket drop.

Link the accounts as related on the website. Can then assign the tickets and sit together.

Thanks, I'm assuming Standard Relationship ensures that I can buy tickets for myself and my friends together. Right?

Yes, only select strong for people you would allow to have access to YOUR tickets. Not just anybody. It's designed for parents to have with their kids if they don't have a phone etc.
