CL Fixtures are out later today. Anyone knows when tickets go on sale? Aim to get in queue for the Pot 1 home tie.

Do you not get the abundance of e-mails from the club??

They will confirm in good time, which I presume will be about 5 minutes after they take the money out of my account for the first home game in the CL

When will we know the date? (Brighton)
It has become complicated as the Manchester derby is on the Sunday, then both United and City are at home in the Carabao. That would suggest Weds and Thurs, but a PL match would need to move the following weekend to allow this to happen. I would guess we play Thursday 17th Sep and the currently untelevised Brighton vs Arsenal moves to the following Sunday to allow that. If City play on the Thursday both their untelevised match and Norwich’s Championship match would need to move, so path of least resistance etc.

Either that or the police sign off on both low risk Carabao matches happening on the same day, which does occasionally happen. That would be Wednesday 16th Sep.

On a similar but unrelated note, are we safe enough to assume the Villa game the weekend of the 7th November will be on the Saturday? Palace (v Liverpool that weekend), Brighton (Brentford), Bournemouth (Ipswich) and Sunderland (Chelsea) all play on the Thursday previous in Europe, so was assuming all those games would be Sunday/Monday

There's no standout fixture that weekend at all, with United Villa being the best of them. I thought there'd be a fair chance of the game be 5.30 on Sat, with 12.30 also ok. Wondering if its safe enough to book flights now as they generally become extortionate once exact times are released, and Sunday/Monday would be unsuitable in anycase

Hey Reds. So if one has zero European credits, what are the chances of getting an away ticket or somehow getting some credits? Even left field options would be welcome.

If I recall correctly, the last time we were in the CL they held back a (very) small number of tickets for those without credits. I could be wrong and no guarantee they’d do it again if so.

My understanding is that for games with an away end of more than 2,500 people, they reserve around 5% for low credit people in the ballots.

Atletico and Sporting Lisbon will have tickets for 0 Credits (5%) as we will be getting 3,500+ tickets (well we should do)

Thanks mate. Just checked and yes they plan to hold back 5% for people with 0 credit, if our allocation up to 2500. Fingers crossed!

For those of you in the UK, for someone like me who is in Canada, and would want to transfer $$ to someone in the UK who has a spare ticket for me, what's generally the best app you guys use over there? Like what's the UK equivalent of Venmo/Zelle (or interac here in Canada)?

I've used Revolut with a lad based in Europe before for Utd tickets

Has anyone else phoned the club and had to deal with their stroppy AI bot 'John'? I've never known such an argumentative AI haha. I had to ask it 5 or 6 times to put me through to a person, with 'John' getting increasingly narked, saying he wanted to deal with my question. When eventually he agreed to put me through 'to a member of the team' (I was hoping for Bruno) I got another pre-recorded response saying they're very busy and they're not accepting any calls today.

A whole new level of enshittification.

Had the same experience two hours ago.
