I'd expect there to be loads of people doing that tbh given the club have announced zero sanctions for people buying but not checking in other than they won't get a credit. Which given what the club have been dishing out bans for left, right and centre this summer for seems a little off given everyone who travels on their own ticket will be checking in to collect the credit but there you go.

Thinking of going to the spurs game at old trafford on Oct 10th. Cheapest ticket I can find on third party websites is for East Stand Upper E333. Is this a good seat? Also there are tickets at SAF stand long side 3rd Tier. I will be travelling from London so assuming best bet is to catch the train.

On the tickets, E333 is East stand tier two. The view is pretty good, above the away fans and tends to be a bit of a tourist / hospitality package area these days (potentially not a problem for you).
3rd tier SAF is HIGH - but if you like a birds eye view...and you might be on the halfway line.

At some point this season I'd like to get hold of a pair to take my son to another game. He loved his first and I've currently got his mum trying to turn him in to an Arsenal fan so need to get him back soon.
He's only young so would need to be a weekend game as 8pm kick offs he'd be fast asleep for.
There's also a potential swap as I share a season ticket so if you've got 2 and 1 of you can't make it I could swap for the other ticket and pay the difference

Not confirmed but likely to be 700 in the away end, plus 200 club allocation in the main stand. I don't think many of those 200 will become available to supporters.

fair enough. That’s tickets already sold by the club though so not sure I’d class it as undersubscribed

They should give some bans for people that would buy a ticket and not collect a credit. I know that sth could happen that you cannot go just before game but if someone will buy 4 tickets and collect 1 credit that should be a punishment. It’s just so unfair for people without any credits, I have few friends that went 2 times to Instanbul, Porto, Copenhagen, Lyon and Bilbao and are still on zeros credits because people with more were buying them to get a credit and pass it to their mates right now they will just be passing it to their mates or sell them for a profit and still it will be difficult to start collecting them for some.

There is also at least two games in the group stage where the club are putting aside 5% for people with no credits
