That man was a blight on this clubAnd then he preferred to go spunk 100m on Antony. Lord help me.

I initially had the exact same guess as to why EtH preferred Rashford and Garnacho in that they were far more direct players for the ridiculous counter attack style EtH chose but the evidence is there that Amad is excellent in transitions as well as being more technical. Can't remember where I heard this, think it was from a MU podcast I frequently listen to, but anyways. The reasoning behind ETHs "non inclusion" of Amad was his height and size... which is just stupid, because when you see him play and how he plays, his height and size is not a problem at all.
Amad is the better version of what Antony is. 100m for Antony was massive, how do you splash that much on him when we already had Amad, Eth was trying to save himself.I initially had the exact same guess as to why EtH preferred Rashford and Garnacho in that they were far more direct players for the ridiculous counter attack style EtH chose but the evidence is there that Amad is excellent in transitions as well as being more technical.
Also, he’s the same size and height as Antony, give or take, and he played all the time under ETH.Can't remember where I heard this, think it was from a MU podcast I frequently listen to, but anyways. The most baffling thing was picking Omari Forson ahead of himInterestingly Zirkzee said the players call him the Ivorian Messi because in training, you just can't take the ball off him.
It does make me wonder about EtH's thinking, but ah well, got him in the side in the end

Thought sticking sticking maznouri up front instead of Amad was even more humiliating
I’d like to see him play RWB for the rest of the season, give him minutes to build his fitness back up for the Europa League final. We need more creativity down the flanks.
Yeah I think so too. The RWB gives him much more license to utilise his pace and skills one on one versus fullbacks. It would really push them back as opposed to when facing Mazraoui, Dorgu and Dalot.I really hope he gets played there and makes it his own. In his cameo last game, he showed a glimpse of why he would be the right choice for that position. He also did well playing in that position several times earlier this season.
I think this is what will happen eventually as Amorim is looking for a 10 (cunha seems imminent). So that makes bruno-cunha 10s with amad rwb. That would make lots of sense
What a player, just different gravy, proper baller. You could sense that their defender was shitting himself and did not want to commit against him. Would be very much needed in the 2nd leg and in the final, forget the league, give him minutes to get him fit for 2nd leg and final.
For the final I'd agree (if Amad is fully fit of course) but for the 2nd leg, we don't need him as long as things don't go crazy badly. With a 3-0 lead, there is no single incentive for us not to keep it tight and compact and let Athletic commit while we try to set up counters for Garnacho. What a player, just different gravy, proper baller. Yeah i guess we can give him half an hour against Brentford and then one half against Bilbao or maybe start him.H
He will need to clock in a few minutes in the league games just to get some match fitness and rhythm back. But just has to keep things simple.
Yeah we need to stretch them and need pace to counter and hopefully if we get a goal on counter it will kill the tie. The idea should be not to let them score early in the match. For the final I'd agree (if Amad is fully fit of course) but for the 2nd leg, we don't need him as long as things don't go crazy badly. Had managed to erase both of these from my memory. Feck me what a clown Ten Hag wasThought sticking sticking maznouri up front instead of Amad was even more humiliating

30 mins of football over the next 2.5 weeks is not the ideal prep for a final we need him to be at his best for. I'm all for wrapping players in cotton wool to some extent but he's back after 3 months out and needs to get match fitness built up again. No need to rush him and start him I’d give him half hour or something up until the final and then start him in the final. Can’t risk him getting injured before the final
30 minutes, then 60 minutes, rest, then 60 minutes and 90 minutes in the final. SimplesNo need to rush him and start him I’d give him half hour or something up until the final and then start him in the final. Can’t risk him getting injured before the final

Definitely should not be starting. Should get 30-40 mins off the bench and then if all good start the semi second legYeah agree. With only a few games left no point being too conservative. I'd start him tomorrow.
But there’s a very good chance he gets injured again before the final if he starts the next league games.30 mins of football over the next 2.5 weeks is not the ideal prep for a final we need him to be at his best for. Agree with this one. No point starting him in pointless league games where the highest position we could finish is 12th. Would be nice to move up a few places of course for the extra money but winning the Europa final will bring us in a lot more money.Definitely should not be starting. It's more of a priority to get him fully match fit and match sharp than it is to worry about him getting injured again. His workload will be carefully managed and hopefully we shouldn't have to take any sort of risks but that doesn't mean wrapping him up in cotton wool for 2.5 weeks. He should feature in all games from now til the end of the season all being wellBut there’s a very good chance he gets injured again before the final if he starts the next league games.
