Should be first player on the team sheet.
Fit everyone else around him.
When he’s on it he is genuinely unplayable. Was dancing round defenders for fun tonight. Plus more importantly end product was there too.

It took us 70 minutes to get going and Amad is the reason we started playing. We were an awful watch before he came on

I mean, he's not just potential where you can argue as 50:50 gamble. This is a real - no brainer - outrageously good player.
Was so obvious every time I watched him play too. Team would instantly look better, he'd make good decisions, beat players on the dribble, create and would do it all efficiently. None of this "try 10 times something good comes off once so he's dangerous" nonsense.

Whatever, glad he's finally being recognized for how fecking good he is by the masses and the club. He's deserved it.

I like Bruno, he's been very good but I think Amad is our best player
Bruno is always fit - that’s a massive plus. Irrespective i would still say it’s Bruno, but Bruno is one of the best players in the world. For Amad to be in that conversation is impressive.

I think what is clear, is that attacking wise there is a phenomenal drop off to whoever we think is our third best player!

He’s special isn’t he. The way he’s come back and he looks levels above practically everyone on the pitch.

We’re so lucky in that we’ve probably hit rock bottom as a team over the last year or two, but somehow we’ve had a monumental saving grace in the Amad has turned into a top level player and give us that hope. Shout out to Yoro too, not as exciting as he’s a CB, but he looks bloody fantastic. What a season that lad has had.

Fair point

If he starts in the final then United will win

He's our best chance at winning by a country mile. I think the biggest factor is who starts out of him or Garnacho. Amad gives us a great chance at winning, Garnacho all but guarantees defeat.

We just don't have another player like him. He's come back and picked up exactly where he left off. Needs to start the final.

He's our 2nd best player after Bruno.

It's such a huge boost to have him back.

Amad was easily our player of the season before his injury — and that’s not even controversial. He won the penalty and scored the winner away to City, then hit a hat-trick to drag us over the line against Southampton. He also scored the extra-time winner in the FA Cup quarter final against Liverpool.

He’s the most dynamic player in our team... the one who can skip past defenders and change the momentum of a game. That’s why, for me, he’s our best player.

The noise I made when he skinned that lad on the turn was honestly one I didn't know I had in me.

Technically our best player…Only Mainoo comes close.

A fit Amad is so good. Our most important player

Amen, brother. If we can get very good attacking RWB (or a right 10 if he plays RWB), that right side alone could easily take us back to top 4.

Pair this man with a quality striker, 10 and wingback and allow him cook.

Him + Yoro + Bruno’s quality/experience are the bedrock for any potential resurgence.

Pair him with a top CF and we'd score a lot more goals. He does things with purpose. Always been a fan of him even before the loan to Sunderland, I thought we made a mistake loaning him out but he seemed to have improved a lot from it.

He’s seriously fecking good. Could play for any team in Europe to be honest, he’s a small lad that isn’t affected by the stature and physicality of any opponent. It’s a great quality to have and makes him a menace to any defender. Proper Man Utd player. He’ll start in the final for sure.

What a player this guy.

Amad, Yoro - feels like a very different genre to what we have been used to recently.

When Ratcliffe was saying we don't have a 100m player he was wrong. He's sensational.

That pass for Hojlund's goal was so class, so precise...

Nah the loan was the best thing thats ever happened to him. I remember watching him when he first arrived, it was obvious that he was too good for the youth level but not ready for the first team football yet. The fact he accepted loan to scotland and championship is a sign that the kid was humble and willing to do whatever it take to adapt to british football even if it mean going down several levels below. Compare that to Adnan Januzaj or Tuanzebe who chosed to move to big club instead.

Made a difference as soon as he came on - tenacious, fast and a good football brain. Hopefully he starts in the final.

He's our best player besides Bruno.
Shame he's been out injured for so long.

I think we'd be higher up the table.
It is perhaps strange to complain about missing a player who were making his first impacts as a sub a year ago, and has been missing for many months in the meantime (wait, was that from the Mount thread?).

Yet I found myself thinking the same thing when seeing him come on these last few games - such a shame that we have been without one of our key players for so long.

He really has taken the leap in a very solid way.

For that Holland assist when he was taking a turn towards the line, for 99% of the players that would have resulted in a goal kick. That skill was much better than it looked like

We can't waste his skillset at wingback. He is so much more dangerous when his primarily responsibility is attacking. Its Amorim's job to create the space he needs to be the most dangerous. He has the ball on a string most of the time. And his first step is lightning quick. Great great player.
