Based on performances so far this season, he’d probably needs to be on the bench more.

His decision making has been questionable at best this season. Feels like he needlessly over complicates things too. When there’s an opportunity to do a cutback to a player charging in to have a free shot in the box, he decides to try to skin another defender instead.

Hence the caveat "according to ChatGPT".

It very much does fit the criteria considering it has zero emotions, and we know LLMs have been proven to have inherent biases. And I did nudge it if I'm being honest

Anyways, this was a simple statistical derivation based on documented population ratios and stats. It's just made an assumption that we had circa 750 million worldwide fans (levelled down from the common claim that we have 1 billion fans) and is applying the same population ratios.
Obviously there's nothing to categorically say that the published studies and stats are not biased in themselves - ha!

Nevertheless, the underlying point is we have a huge fanbase, and as a result, probably have a huge number of wrong uns and weirdos so these toxic fan behaviours on social media (and occasionally here) do not surprise me.
You are undoubtedly correct in that assumption.

Man Utd 2:0 Sunderland New
The team missed him.

He does so much on and off the ball.

Good game, one of the few who played well in the first half and also played well in the 2nd. Always up for duels, made a lot of correct decisions and when he had the chance to shoot he got it on target

There was quite a bit of negativity in the matchday thread. Couldn’t understand it. He was excellent throughout. Going both ways too.

Looks almost natural as wingback. In 1st half, also engine of the buildup. Easily creating for himself and others.

Was getting frustrated with De Ligt's lack of ball control towards the end. Not every one is you Amad!

He makes Amorim's system workable. We need another version of him on our left side. That's the minimum of what the wing backs in this system require

Probably from people with an agenda.

His game in numbers

38/38 completed passes
3 key passes
3 successful dribbles
2 tackles
8/14 duels won

Matchday thread is full of hospital takes. I saw someone questioning why he didn't cross when Sesko was in the box surrounded by like 5 Sunderland players, and Amad instead passed it to Bruno

Excellent performance, will Amorim be brave enough to start him as RWB against Liverpool? I really hope so but somehow doubt it

Looked more like his old self, which is nice to see.

He had a good game and he gives us great attacking threat as a RWB but he does put others into bad situations with his short fired passes at times.

I hope he enjoys RWB as a position, because he is class there.

Back to being towards his best today. I felt like Mbeumo and him were getting in the way of each other less too.

Much better from Amad yesterday. A goal and an assist would be nice in the next few games, just to keep that liveliness in his step. He, along with Mbeumo on the right flank, should be a decent threat going forward.

I hope he continues it though. I'm a big fan but he's not had a good season so far.
Well yeah, the hope is that he’s turned a corner and will be more like his old self going forward. There’s settling in and adjusting to new teammate issues for the whole team, but it’s by 10ish games in, you’re expecting to see some genuine synergy and understanding, which hopefully he’s on course for.

He and Mbeumo should be looking at 20+ goals between them from the right hand side. One tricky gliding winger and one no none sense power runner. It’s a great combination and I really hope they keep working on their combinations as it could be potentially great for us.

A right footed version of Amad for the left would be tasteful, like a good lasagna on a rainy sunday afternoon

He was more like last season yesterday. Possibly had extra motivation playing vs club where he used to play as a loanee.

Him at RWB is growing on me, it I feel like it's neutered some of his amazing pressing. He's got a brilliant knack of stealing the ball up front, and you can tell he wants to gamble and do the same from RWB but it leaves us a bit exposed when he does it.

He is an exceptional dribbler. The sort of player Fergie would have loved to have in his team. I really hope Amorim starts him vs Liverpool. Him and Mbeumo could potentially exploit Kerkez.

What aperformance from Amad, much better on the right, no need to experiment him on the left because we missed him against Brentford, he must be paired with Mbueon and let them gel please. May turn into a formidable duo for us.
