That's very true. I think he would fit wing back really well if we were more of a dominant team like today where we create more than defendSo much better when he doesn’t have to spend half the game defending.

We lose his pressing when he plays as a wingback how many goals didn’t he create last season just by being a devious presser. That's very true. I think he would fit wing back really well if we were more of a dominant team like today where we create more than defend
Not sure about just wingback, as it’s equally about his mindset. Dalot and Shaw would definitely have stopped sprinting if they lost similarly. Robertson, for all his cnutishness has always been that type of player - never give up. Amad has that bite, and I love it!I actually thought to myself when I saw that, that's all the wingback training!
They're mint and make us enjoyable to watch.
Because Amad isn't a goalscorer. Brilliant player but just not there yet as a finisher. We were desperately missing goals last season. Now Mbeumo's finishing has gone off the boil since the last international break but he's a far more seasoned player in the final third.I think he's better than Mbeumo. It really does beg the question why we spend that money on Mbeumo when we already had a great player in that position. I still like Mbeumo (despite the recent diabolical form), but that money could've been far better spent elsewhere.
Out of genuine curiosity, what was Amad's goal output at this point last season? I don't think it was too far behind what Mbeumo is at right now (despite being largely ignored by Ten Hag at the beginning of the season.)Because Amad isn't a goalscorer. 5 g/a so far, 257 min per G/A this season
The first knockout round is Jan 3rd. Ivory Coast are 4th or 5th favourites so it depends who they get. When is he realistically going to be back at the earliest?
I read he wasn’t originally in squad then called up recently.. still think same rules should apply but guess notAnyone know why Guessand was able to play yesterday but Amad wasn't?
Both in the Ivory Coast squad.
He was a threat all game.He scored the winner for Ivory Coast today in a 1-0 win over Mozambique

He’s so fecking good. Genuinely think he’s one of the best wingers in the league yet has never gotten to play in that normal RW spot.
Sorry but I disagree. Bruno seems to be very polarizing on here and most everyone loves Amad.Never seen a more underrated player. It seems at United that the only player getting any credit is Bruno and has been for years. Regardless of anyone else’s performances
If we move to a 433 in the future, I see him starting over Mbuemo in that spot. I’ve seen plenty of potential lineups that leave him out, which doesn’t make sense to me. Ideally, we fit them all in, of course.

It's doable but a headache. Maybe something like a 442 with Sesko Mbeumo upfront.
Summer planning was a disaster. Especially in the context of Amorim saying it takes too many players to get the perfect 343 to work and he doesn't have that so he'll play 4 atb.
If they made the choice in the summer, we could've kept Nacho and Amad on the wings, Bruno #10 and sorted our midfield.
Total failure in planning from INEOS.
We could move to a formation of playing 10 wingers and I still wouldn't have wanted Garnacho anywhere near the club this season.
Summer planning wasn't a disaster at all. Our summer business was great. Cunha, Mbeumo and Sesko were all great signings and we off loaded a bunch of rotten eggs. Rome wasn't built in a day. We tried for Baleba but it obviously wasn't possible so instead of panic buying, we're going through the process until the next window or even summer where I've not a single doubt in the world that we will try sign a midfielder or two.
