Absolutely no problem squeezing both him and Mbeumo in the team. You just adjust the formation so it fits your best players. Easy as that, and the game today shows that.

He has to start every game. The combination of work rate, pressing, intensity, brilliant touch, constant running, support to the full back...he is just too good.

Very good performance (9/10). He is terrific performer when he doesn't hold on to the ball too long and plays simple. Would have given him a 10 if he had passed to Mainoo on the chance he got instead of shooting or scored the last opportunity on the post
Deserved a goal. Probably our second best finisher after Mbeumo, so close to goal he is the better. Good bit of vision on him too.

What a player. Dribbling, finishing, pressing, you name it, he does it in a top level. He is crossing is a bit mediocre for his immense talent.

Play him in his best position and he can terrorise teams. Glad to have him and Mbeumo back from AFCON, we looked so much better for it.

Why do we pretend this was the end of the story? He played him plenty after this happened, Amad was the star of our pre season after this.
He only renewed recently didn’t he? He’s got another 4 years at least I think. Zero chance we let him go.

Never take anyone's opinion, championing Amad's on RWB, seriously
He was, and continued starting for the first month of the season. However all it took was his form dropping a little and he was instantly back to the bench despite the players replacing him being no better (if not worse). He only got 36 minutes in the last four PL games under ETH.
As I've said before, Amad under ETH was in a similar position to Martial under Mourinho. Both players had to be performing far, far better than the players they were competing with to remain in the team, as it felt like the manager was basically looking for an excuse to drop them. Meanwhile the players they were competing with could get away with stinker after stinker and keep getting chances.
Been my favourite for a long time now. They were all class in the end today after dalot thankfully improved.
