It seemed to me he was targeted on physical duels. Rice and Hincapie kept on rushing towards him everytime he got the ball, trying to bully him into losing possession.
Anyways, more discrete than usual, had an okay game overall

Quite a quiet game for him today I felt. Not much went down our right at all really. Or Arsenal's left. Will be interesting to see if Carrick is brave enough to play him and Mbuemo together on the right against some of the teams we're likely to have more possession against. Felt that their link up was maybe the only positive to Amorim's system. Probably too much of a defensive liability to have him on the right of a back four though.

That’s hilarious by Amad haha.

The players get so much stick on socials, I will always back them if they have a pop back as long as its not disrespectful.

Deligent as ever defensively but a quiet game attacking wise. I think the next step is figuring out how to still be effective with that kind of pressure on him, the same way Saka does.

There is not much more I would have had asked Amad to do in yesterday's game because anything 'more' would have meant him taking on players when he's getting double/tripled in team in dangerous places with very little support on his side. That's asking for trouble.

The best way to make sure he's effective with that kind of 'pressure' is for the team to move the ball faster, be higher up the pitch and for more of his teammates to be around him when those moments comes i.e basically the same way Saka was supported.

Man Utd 3:2 Fulham New
All the talk about holding the bench etc. — I think he’s easily first choice right wing

Unlucky with the end product lately, but he's our Silva in his ability to hold the ball and the endless workrate.

His intensity in the last few minutes as everyone else dropped off was very important

Deserved an assist for that early cross to Sesko, but also insane work rate. Genuinely would love to see the amount of ground he covered in that game because he ran his heart out. The stats won't show it but he's undoubtedly one of our most important players out there

Such an important player for us on the right. 1 vs 1 threat, high game intelligence with this composure on the ball and defensively a beast.

Tired the last 15 mins and I can't blame him.

It's a tough one to choose between Amad and Mbeumo for that right wing position.

I'd go with Amad.

Love him as a player! He's always keeping it simple.

He has that uncanny ability to quickly close in on a player with the ball, to poach it. It's catches people surprised and unprepared.

Class player. Just needs to find some productivity to make the step up but he has it in him.

He has been very poor. His intensity levels are not used when needed. He takes too long to close back in after an attack.

I also don’t like how he walks so much, two feet on the ground as if he is Messi.

He was pressing like a mad man in the last mins of stoppage time.

Our best player on the pitch after Case, Cunha and Licha.

Think you might be in the wrong thread, bud

He’s been a revelation, his pace and dribbling has been superb and very consistent since returning from the Afcon.

You realise this is the Amad thread right?

How is anyone digging out Amad  fantastic player and a joy to watch. Had the beating of their full back all 1st half and was class on and off the ball for the majority of the game.

Our best player, need to get him involved as much as possible. Let Cunha make runs in thebox with Mbeumo a Amad to combine with Bruno for a final pass. We would be even better with a decent RB. But with Mazroui I think the combination will improve a notch. Probably Dalot keeps his place for now though.

I see we got one of them unless you don’t score or assist you are poor types.

He needs a goal or assist to calm him around the box. Almost had it with Sesko header. He is such a tidy player to watch. Glad he is playing upfront

When he decides to pass it, he can deliver great balls but he doesn't attempt them nearly enough for me. I think he's looking to find the right balance between individual effort and creating for others

Wow. He was our best attacker today in general play and harasses and presses like a dog. Awful post.

Ok.....right

I gave him MOTM today, he covered so much ground, one minute would be beating his full back and the next he'd be our deepest player to deal with a counter attack.

Unlucky not to get a goal or assist with his forward play too.
